First and most important, axed is a troll (all connotations apply) he is not a frog. Second ranks and op stuff and such are still allowed under the ula they just cant be purchased with hard currencies like euros or bitcoins, instead they will be purchased with vote coins, addview coins, and in game money.

Axed has said kits and ranks you buy stay forever. Mojang will allow ranks purchased previously to still stand, they want two things, 1 the ability for players to earn them in game and 2 to stop selling them for hard currencies.


@aXed I wish you would tell us that all is well, that this is really a good thing and the server will survive till the end of time, stronger than ever with the new changes and plans you have, that we will login with our grand kids and they will go 'wow you have a legacy rank' because honestly I'm scared the server will shrivel up and die with out revenue and you will shut it down in less than a year. I don't care if the ranks are 80% off its not worth buying if the server is dying.

Also Mojangs ula requires servers to only let in players that use legitimate paid for software (ie no cracked servers) Will guild craft go legit, what happens to cracked accounts? What happens to ranks on cracked accounts? Will we be able to transfer our ranks and stuff to premium accounts? Even if the server continues there is no point in buying a rank if we can no longer login with the account those ranks are on.

 

ya ture but if you want keep your games and rank rather not get shut down and all the money you spend is for nothing (unless is refundable) you have to step up and try to protest the moajag and microsoft compmany to remove it or esle both server and mojag will be in a huge situation than ever before better yet the game will no longer have a server only your self and some other people (who are far away form you)

 

Mojang and microsoft don't give a crap about your protesting. They are the 400 lb gorilla and you are mice to them, worse you are earthworms, your existence does not matter and they don't care what you or I or any non compliant server owner thinks. They will do what they do and there is no changing what they do. You will comply or they will steam roll you in the courts. Sure you can spite them for a while but they will always win in the end.

It feels like an opportune time to pump all the users for cash with the 50% off sale linger for a while and then say 'sorry had to close the server blame Microsoft'. Please @aXed convince us this is not what you are doing.

I think 1.9 is the worst update in history, It ruined everything in Minecraft...

 

Tbh I don't like the EULA for certain reasons and for a split part of it, the hacker part...

1. Donator ranks will get completely fucked up.
2. The donor perks will be messed and mixed up as some changes will be in.
3. Every noob will ruin the server by abusing donor perks when they buy them.

That's the bad point I don't like...
Below this, it's the good part I like about.

1. Hackers who attempts to log-in with hack clients will be banned via launcher.
2. All the servers will be up to date. (Though, I don't like 1.9+ PvP at all)
3. Legacy ranks will be in, but it will ruin DemiGod+'s experiences.

As I'd suggest, similar comment KinqCake has mentioned the statement to close GC stores at the moment otherwise the problem between GC and Mojang is/are solved.

and I strongly recommend aXed to request Mojang to let the donor perks like donor /kits remain. Not necessary to change the enchantments or items in it that includes Factions, FactionsBlack, Skyblock, Skygrid and KitPvP.

Also, cracked users will have a big question mark and some issues to solve as Guildcraft might turn into a premium server and cracked users will no longer be able to use cracked launchers as it's against the latest EULA (End User License Agreement). Probably cracked users will be forced to buy a Minecraft official account to log-in to Guildcraft. But how are they possibly afford to obtain or buy one? Let's say if they're poor, or if they're from countries such as Pakistan or Malaysia, Thailand or etc (No racism or hatred towards players/people who're viewing this)? I think this is certainly unfair and not a very good thing at all.

At this situation, aXed will also have a big problem as the community will have a slump. Because of the cracked users' population! @aXed, sorry to say this. It's just true.

How about we also request for one last thing from Mojang, to allow cracked servers? Most people are premium, but they're also 1/4 of the Minecraft community from cracked servers! So just imagine the vast netizen population lost in Minecraft.

There are two options for you -
As Ssundee said, stick with 1.9.2 and keep what you are doing. I'm sure Mojang will change some rule, because many more servers are blacklisted so obviously they will do something.

Or you can completely close the current Guildcraft store and upgrade all donators to particle effect, chat names, etc according to money they donated. Start advertising as that is also a good way to make money and I know that it takes a lot of expenses to run a big server and I'm sure advertising can make profit if done smartly.

I will also suggest you to make a Guildcraft official YouTube channel like many big youtubers who own a server like Preston. YouTube can pay you good.

I hope this gets resolved.
