»So Many Slimes

On My island after reset there are that many slimes that I cant even work on anything after I kill them they spawn straight back in I have changed the biome to Mesa still no difference please make changes.

I think there's a slime chunk, i mean you can make an instant slime farm right there and make bank.
Well I think you can build a little bit away from that chunk and you'll be good.

 

That's lucky, not all chunks are slime chunks. A small portion is. If I were you I would build in a different chunk, it will be okay.

 

A lot of people are trying to get slimes to spawn and cant find them lol

 

ill set a warp when I can your free to have them I cant bulid away until I expand my island

 

Place bottom half slabs and nothing can spawn. Light prevents all other overworld mobs but not slimes.
Build above Y=40 and no slimes will spawn.
