So, since the first part got a lot of positive feedback, I've decided to start making the second part.

Link to the first part: https://www.guildcraft.org/threads/suggestions-to-improve-guildcraft.61925/

So hopefully some of these suggestions actually get implemented, and the server starts growing again.

    1. Head drops [Faction Suggestion] (Saw @RP39 mention this in chat once, so I'll give 1/2 of the credit to him, but I believe my idea is slightly different) @Melon333

Purpose of this idea: Making PvP Alive, PvP making a bigger impact on the server Economy.

Idea: So, for example, if a player get's killed, there's a % chance that his head will drop, for exmaple:

    1. If the player was killed with a sword that doesn't have a Looting Enchantment - %2 the Head will drop.
    2. If the player was killed with a sword that has a Looting I enchantment - %5 the Head will drop.
    3. If the player was killed with a sword that has a Looting II enchantment - 7.5% the Head will drop.
    4. If the player was killed with a sword that has a Looting III enchantment - 10% the Head will drop.

Now, since I've mentioned that this Idea will have an impact on the economy, here's what I meant.

When a Player dies, and his head drops, the player that owns the head can sell it at spawn and receive 5% of the killed players balance (Only possible to sell up to 7 days since the player was killed, this way people won't be able to save the head untill the player that has been killed receives a high balance and then use it).

    For example:

    Vojkea has beheaded /PlayerName/
    /PlayerNames/ balance is 100$
Vojkea sells the head and recieves 5% of /PlayerName/s balance.
    Vojkea receives 5$.
    /PlayerName/ loses 5$.

    2. Bounty Hunter [Skyblock, Skygrid, Factions, KitPvP, OpPrison Suggestion] @Melon333 @UchihaSamy @illlex @xph11

Purpose of the Idea: To Make PvP Alive, PvP making an impact on the economy.

    For example,
Player1 has been killed by Player2.
Player1 is mad since he got killed in a 2v1 since Player2 teamed with his friend.
Player1 wants revenge, and he puts a bounty on Player2s head. (Player1 gives 500$ for whoever kills Player2)
    Player3 comes and kills Player2, Player3 Receives 450$ (10% tax).
Player1 is happy, Player3 is happy, Player2 is dead (aha Justice!)

In my opinion, this plugin would make a great impact on the server, especially if you make the server 1.7.10 compatible.
Especially on factions, factions who aren't good at PvP, but are rich can get revenge on the faction they don't like + they can make the faction lose power (if the players from the faction get killed).

    3. Elo System Changes [PracticePvP Suggestion] @Melon333

So, this season of practicepvp has been a lot of fun, but the main problem, players who reach high elo [1600+] have a problem getting matched vs someone, and even if they do, they'll receive a small amount of elo if they win.

For example, let's say, a player with 2000 elo, want's to match up vs someone.
    1. He'll most likely need to wait a long time to get matched
    2. If he get's matched he'll win 1-3 lp per victory
For example, a common situation, a player waits 2 mins per matchup (members have 10 ranked matches per day), so 10x2min= 20 mins of wasted time, but that's not the only bad side.
Nodebuff matches, for example, last 1-4 mins, so let's say he'll have 2mins matches average:
    2x10= 20min
Now that's 40 mins of the time played, but for what?
If the player wins 9 matches in a row and gains 9 elo, and then he gets matched vs a hacker with 1000 elo and loses 20 elo, he played for 40 mins to lose 11 elo.
Now that can tilt a lot of people and make them rage quit, so my suggestion is to completly rework the elo system.

    Either:
    1. make it like Badlion [Unranked, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Emerald, Diamond, Masters]
    2. make the elo more obtainable, for example:

    Player1 (2040 elo) beats Player2 (1170 elo)
    Player1 + 9 elo, Player2 -9 elo

The Second system would work like this:

    1. If the Player1, Player2 are close in elo (both 1000-1100) the winner receives 20 elo, loser loses 20 elo
    2. If the Player1 is a little above than player2 (Player1 1100-1200) (Player2 1000-1100) Player1 beats Player2, Player1 receives 19 elo, Player2 loses 19 elo.
    3. If the Player1 is a little under Player2 (Player1 900-1000) (Player2 1000-1100)
    Player1 receives 21 elo, Player2 loses 21 elo.

    Player1 (20 elo ± 1 * every hundred point scale under/above player) if he beats Player2

    So if Player1 Beats Player2, Player1 is 1000-1100, Player2 is 1100-1200
    It would be like this:
20 +(because he has less elo then the guy he won versus) 1 * 1(because the difference is only a 1 hundred point scale above him)
    So that's 20 + 1*1 = 20 + 1 = 21, Player1 Gains 21 Elo, Player2 loses 21 Elo.

    A different example
    Player1 Beats Player2, Player1 has 1000-1100 elo, Player2 has 900-1000 elo.
    It would be like this:
20 -(Since he has more elo then the guy he won versus) 1 * 1(because the difference is only 1 hundred point scale under him)
    So that's 20 - 1*1 = 20 - 1 = 19, Player1 gains 19 elo, Player2 loses 19 elo.

    And the final example:
Player1 Beats Player2, Player1 has 1000-1100 elo, Player2 has 1000-1100 elo (Same hundred point scale)
    That would be 20 ± 1 * 0 (since there's not enough elo difference)
    So that's 20 ± 0 = 20, Player1 Gains 20 Elo, Player2 Loses 20 elo.

    + If a player beats a player who's 20 hundred elo scales under him (Player1 2860 Elo) (Player2 830 Elo)
It wouldn't work since 20 - 1*20 = 0 so that's why the minimum a player can receieve should be 2 elo/ a minimum that a player can lose should be 2 elo.
So in this situation Player1 would gain 2 elo and would be at 2862, while player2 would be at 828 elo.

And the maxium a player can win should be 3o elo.

He will lose 5% of his balance, u will gain 5% of his balance, so it would be as he payed u the 5%, since he would lose the money.

So, you could do that, but at the end, you'll earn the same amount of money he loses, so that would be the same as if he did /pay and gave you money.

    Just playing devil's advocate here

    1) That just discourages pvp even more since people might not just lose a p4 set but potentially millions. It wouldn't help the weaker factions since obviously the bigger factions have more players to pvp with and will instantly gang-bang any rich player or bounty hunter who jumps down into pvp.

    2) Good idea, everyone's happy and no one loses anything they don't want to lose. Although I can see people jumping into pvp naked to get rid of an insane bounty and making the bounty placer(s) look like an idiot who spends tons to have a naked player killed. Letting an ally kill you and pay you half the money would also be pretty annoying for the bounty placer. Nice idea, but far too easy to abuse.

    3) I agree with the MMR system like badlion, where closely ranked players get put together more often, but since the server isn't as large as badlion a rigid matchmaking algorithm might take longer. I also don't see how your second solution changes things since now instead of gaining 1 point / match at 1800 elo vs 1000 elo now it's just 1 point / match at 2800 elo. All it's doing is raising the soft-cap a little, not fixing the core issue. Setting up a balanced, fair elo to represent a players skill is impossible to do with hackers present. Losing elo to hackers is the core issue. A good way to fix this would be to automatically reimburse lost elo to players if the hacker who beat them gets banned, which also encourages people to report the hackers. A win-win, and shouldn't be too hard to program as long as a match history is kept for all players.

Actually, people rarely get more than 20-30mil till the end of the reset (in a balanced economy systom), so at max they could lose 1,5 milion, but this would make people more careful about the way they pvp, and it would make PvP more intense.

Tho you're right, it could be decreased to 2-3% so it makes it more balanced, but keep in mind, only a few people get up to a few milion IGM, which means only a few people could risk losing milions.

+ I figured out 1 more flaw in this suggestions, after people die and be beheaded, they could pay a faction member their money untill the 7 days pass, that's why I'd like to correct it and make it that they get 5% of the money that the player had when he got killed (this could still be abused, if the player predicts he might die and pays his faction member money before he jumps in PvP).

But there's a solution to that aswell, since when someone get's beheaded it shouldn't be shown in public chat that his head has dropped, so the player that got beheaded doesn't know if the member who beheaded him got the head or not.

+ On factions people rarely die due to PvP bases, so people don't see PvPing worth it there anymore, but this way people could collect heads and money thorugh PvP, in 90% cases the player runs to his PvP base and survives if he gets grouped on/starts losing, so at the end both of the players get their IV dmged and gain nothing.

I agree, but that would cost them power aswell, like on factions, if the faction is almost going to be raidable, and a player that's in the faction loses power, they could easily overclaim it.

Another example, KitPvP, people don't want to die to ruin their KD ratio + they cannot do /pay there.

It's highly unlikely that anyone will reach 2800 elo, but if someone does, as I stated in my post, the minimum they could win is 2 elo, not 1, so this would make it slightly better and slightly more balanced.
And this way, people could recover from their elo lose with less matches.

And I agree to the second thing you've added. if the player lost to someone who hacked, and the hacker gets banned in the next 24 hours, the player receives his elo back.
(Might add a suggestion on that, and I will give u credit for it)

    Thanks for the productive respond

Thanks, tho I've had 2 more great ideas about PracPvP, and some more to add, but since I'm banned I wont be able to do that.

Thanks for the positive feedback once again, and for encouraging me to post more, you're a great staff member.
