»Connection was forcibly closed by the remote host

Hi All,
Not sure if this is the right location, but for the last couple a days I keep getting kicked from the server with the following message. Sometimes it takes a while other times it kicks me every 1 min or so. All the weeks before I never had any issues.

Connection Lost
Internal Exception: java.IUException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.

As far as I can tell my connection is ok.

Any suggestions?

 

Most of the time, it may be because of your internet connection speed. Either restart your router or, if you're patient enough, wait a few minutes until your connection speeds up again.

Other times, this is a server-sided problem. If that's the case, wait a few minutes until server connection stabilizes.

But pretty sure this somehow is server side related. Tried some other minecraft servers directly after having issues today and didn't get disconnects. Went back to guildcraft and poof gone again. When I start it stay's ok for roughly 15 mins then the issues start.

Restarted my router. Still same issues

Tested my connection using http://www.speedtest.net/
ping nearby amsterdam (local) 19ms
ping london 18ms
ping new york 105ms

 

Try turning off your router for 30 secs, then turn it back on agian it completely refreshes it
