»BUFF swapper AGAIN / allow refund for nerfed kits

Srsly cats why did u nerf swapper atleast allow refund for nerfed kits you told me to max it and now u guys mad it so bad

 

If kit refunding was implemented, people can just refund kits and switch kits all the time. Ex: I have assassin, and I wanted to use rift walker. Just refund assassin and buy rift walker. Then switch back later if you feel like it. Even if it's just for nerfed kits, everyone would just refund the class and get another one

 

For example if you want to refund a kit of 25k xp you will get 20k back or less, and you won't be able to abuse as you said..

Overall it's a great idea, while a kit overload didn't happen yet on 2.0 and many of us are disappointed about what we bought..

Understandable, but as the meta changes, kits are re balanced, etc, People can refund the out of meta kits and use that xp to get another kit instead. This basically gives the option of getting in-meta kits and switching out the out of meta ones. Creating an environment where only certain kits are used and the other ones ignored.

 

I will talk to cats and anni staff about kit refunds, although I am against it for ^^ reason.

What kits specifically? If those kits are actually under-powered compared to other kits, we will seriously consider buffing the in some ways.

Given it's not just "It's not like it was in 1.0" or "pls undo nerf i don't want to use the kit the way it was intended i want to be op" waste of time.

 

You completely missed the point. You can ONLY refund kits IF it undergo a major change/nerf. I too am unsatisfied with what they did with swapper, they now made it unable to swap through (many) blocks which is NOT what I bought it for. (This nerf is a huge inpact on what a swapper can do) Thus people who bought swapper should have a refund because it is NOT what they bought it for.
To summarise its not any kit that can be refunded but ONLY kits that got a major change in playstyle.

 

I think 3 life time refunds are balanced and fair (^_^)

 

As I said before, the kits that get nerfed will get refunded because no one will want them. Only making it so that certain kits are during that time. Ex: Woah, Assasin, Handyman and Defender just got nerfed. Time to refund all of those kits and get other ones. Then proceeding forward, for every single kit that gets nerfed, those kits will be all refunded creating a lesser diversity of kits.

Personal, my first kit on 2.0 was acro. I bought it thinking of a way to do the xp faster by getting more kills (not even farming)..
I remember it was 30k xp and later i was really disappointed when i saw that a civilian upgraded with iron sword could destroy me..
At the beginning i thought that was happening because it wasn't upgraded, but after i did the upgrade i was more disappointed seeing it was worse than the default, with an useless bow that bothered me at 1v1s.
And after about 50k wasted on nothing i gave up and now i would definitely refund it to change it with vamp or scorpio.
And also my assasin has a lot of bugs..
