Alright, had this on my mind for a long time.
So yea, as @aXed said, Semi didnt get a lot of players, but at least it got SOME.. I mean, minigames like paintball and buildbattle get no players at all, and nobody cares about them.
Semi, well, its a long story. A lot of players started their playing career on gc on semi, its the ultimate server. This server holds dear to a lot of people. I know some players who raged/quit and stuff because semi got shut down. We got players in survival who are asking about the existence of semi. Players spent time building bases/redstone builds on semi. I propose to take the minigames (that get no players at all) down to compensate for the server space and stuff, and bring semi back.

Yassss Pls I spent my whole GC life there and in survival pls #BringSemiBack just take a look at iverstaylot00's blaze farm in Semi, it's OP as well as his other Redstone projects, he used to make YouTube videos on semi too. I can show u the blaze grinder pic on his Twitter as well as his YouTube channel pls bring semi back.

Semi needs attention and bug fixes, and needs money to be hosted

Noone on semi donated except a couple including me, most of its players are 10 years old kids, and axed cant run a server if he needs to keep paying for it
And as I said there aint no attention from staff, it was best to shut it down


Even tho it was my first and favorite server....

 

Why doesn't it get attention? Hmm.. because of the lack of useful commands such as /pv and a lot more and there isn't auto ban there for hacking like in Kitpvp so some ppl just rage quit because of hackers. Well I would've become a player admin there but.. I am 13 and I got muted many times so.. meh and btw devs should add some useful commands and the new legacy ranks weren't even introduced there and Axed can run semivanilla with the money he gets from donation of other servers like survival. People don't donate to semi because of lack of some useful commands that donors should get.Their kits dont matter a lot because Anyone can make OP armors with villagers including me. And auto ban should be available there but I hope it isn't broken so even legit players can get banned. It should get a new reset and addition of new commands. Just give it a chance. Maybe make it like factions but in 1.9 for ppl who Pvp a lot in 1.9 mechanics

semi was a good server before the reset and update. Lots of Legend+ ranks played and donated frequently. Then everyone quit when 1.9 came around cause, in my opinion, 1.9 just sucks. Semi should not be reopened, there is no point in having a server no one will donate to and that has 5 players on at a time.

And about that pvp idea. FORGET IT. 1.9 pvp is the most idiotic thing ever.

 

Dude have u ever tried to listen to someone else? C'mon there are some people who like 1.9 and I respect 1.8 PvP but I don't like that u need gapples to regen and u need to jitter click and if that will be applicable to semi then rip because then there will be run for gold and some ranks will get God Apple's because we can't mine for gold all the time .-. And survival is 1.9 PvP but 50 ppl play there because of spawn plots, and other commands available there.

 

Alright, cool, you have a point. What about the other servers who got even less players than semi?

 

survival csgo and goldrush are next just wait few month

No mater what you do semi will not come back. No one donates to it anymore, they already got rid of it, and very few players play it anymore. I agree semi was a good server when it was 1.8. When it hit 1.9 i like many quit.

 

I don't understand Semi. It's like survival and a little different. I don't understand how it's so fun with 5 people at maximum online or at weekends maximum 15.

 

Simply because Semi had a lot of bugs which were never fixed and u weren't or aren't good at 1.9 pvp

 

It's fun for some ppl because greifing, pvp in wild, tpkilling is allowed there and it has less players because of bugs and lack of useful commands which donors dont get and spawn plots too. Some people dont even like pvp whether its 1.9 or 1.8

 

Wot the fudge man.. if survival got removed then rip 1.9 pvp but a lot of ppl donate in survival so there isnt any point of removing it

 

Semi isn't worth to run it if it's costing aXed more money to run it than he gets.

 

lol there is no good or bad in 1.9 pvp, it is very hard to kill in pvp because of shield and the regen rate. No point in pvp if they cant die
