They completely ruined kits a few resets ago by adding minerals to cobble gens and turning the mineral block kits into IV. Skyblock wasn't dead and it was fun to play, the average player count was 100+ for skyblock and it was fun for all. And youre probably thinking about how did new players get money because that sounds like a p2w situation, and honestly I have no clue, I think they set up shops and sold stone and other resources to other players, but I know for sure somehow they made their money. Also large and small donators made shops and sold their minerals so newbies have access to minerals too so it's not only p2w. You would think that surely wouldn't attract players, it's just too hard to make cash, but I think 100 players average is better than 30. It was just a better nicer community, and I think that kind of thing would attract new players to guildcraft. And this nice friendly community was all because of one thing, when they removed mineral blocks from donators kits and changed it to IV. You probably would think it's worse, but in the end it all worked out. Instead of making mass farms, mine minerals from cobble gens, and keep to themselves all day the community would be more open and so much more friendly, this is all because donators and newbies opened shops to share with one another. It was almost like the real world, no one in real life makes mass farms and keeps to themselves, they buy materials from bigger companies and then distribute it between their smaller buyers for a profit. This would make sure the economy isn't broken with 4 mil being the richest person on the server instead of 70 mil with this broken economy, right now it's more like OP skyblock. This server tries to attract new players by making it easy for new players to make money, but really they're ruining it and shoving themselves further and further under the ground with every new "good" descion. Maybe taking a step back to look at guildcraft a few years ago and compare it to the new server would be a better choice. How did people make money? Well maybe i made money because me and madkrillix had a monopoly on spawners because you see, at that time, the baltop 1 was only 9.5M, and since skelly spawners sold for like 250k, you get the point. But i agree entirely. -Shadoe
