I have a question for a long time since anni started. Why is there no spectate in anni? Sometimes when there is just 1 game and it is in phase 3-5 and you can't join, let us spectate so we will not be bored lol And where is the double xp weekend ;-;
totally agree its most annoying when there is 2 Phase V games which are like Outback and Canyon which are really slow games I totally agree spectate mode should be added
I guess one issue with spectating is that you can spy on other teams and report back to your friends to tell them what's going on in another team which makes the game pretty unfair... anni's not like other servers (which have spectate) where the game is fast and knowing what other players do doesn't benefit your team.

Using spectate to spy is the same as joining a team and telling yoir friend what the team is planning.
except that the difference is only a handful of people actually join different teams from their friends just so that they can act as a spy. Spectating, on the other hand, allows anyone who has access to the command (in this case, i presume it's anyone in the lobby) to spy on other teams. It doesn't mean that just because people can find a way to beat the system and spy on other teams, that we should just allow anyone to spectate. Go big or go home doesn't apply here.
You don't get it, Do you? For example if someone is rushing, you and your friend could be on Skype and you could tell your friend his exact locations. If someone is making a secret furnace area to smelt gold, you could spy on him and see where he puts his gold and report back to your friend so he could steal it. Eh new anni players Can't really complain
Well there woll always be exploits just like the bridges and mega walls on other servers after your team die you can spectate
game spectating can be abused #1: If spectating mode is /gamemode 3 Player1 and Player2 on skype call or something (...?) Player 3 is legit pro Player 2 cant join (cuz it's phase VI), so player 2 spectate Player 1 is in blue team, Player 3 is in red team Player 3 used invi to rush on blue Player 2 saw Player 3, and immediately tells player 1 to defend Player 2 guides player 1 where player 3 hides. kaboom boom #2: If spectating mode is /vanish Player 1 and Player 2 on skype call or something (...?) Player 3 is legit pro Player 2 cant join (cuz it's phase III), so player 2 spectate Player 1 is in green team, Player 3 is in Blue Team Player 3 is mining on gold mine with good loot, without paying attention to its area; Player 1 is at far mid Player 2 asks Player 1 that Player 3 is in gold mine boom kaboom #3: If spectating mode is for donators eh, both #1 and #2, Unless donators are nice and plays fairly #4: If spectating mode is for all players but only if nexus is killed and you died same as #1 and #2. ^basically this, I just see tons of people creating alts just to get an idea what's going on in the map so they can take an advantage
