    I will just give my perspective in the 'farming problem' discussion,

    When i started playing annihilation, farmers were rare and generally well respected as it was quite hard to actually pull of a successful farm. After all, i am speaking about annihilation in Minecraft 1.7, which meant that you couldn't see the enchant you were getting beforehand, and enchanting equipment on a certain level took away that amount of levels from your total experience level. Enchanter was not a very widely used kit back then, many players relied on other kits with plain iron equipment or low level protection enchantments. After annihilation updated to 1.8 it became easier to farm, however it still was not at the current level, which was achieved only after strength potions were made available at every phase of the game and armor became unbreakable and the amount of redstone / gold / emerald ores in mines was greatly increased. The resulting farming / group farming climate which has resulted from this is very hard to combat with any kit, which has had some simple results.

    - A lot of non-civilians spend their time either mining and enchanting gear up to high levels in the first phases of the game, or rushing other teams mines to prevent the enemy from getting high level gear.

    - After the first phases most players have kits focused on movement, to enable hit and run strategies, the people who enchanted their gear up to high levels included. Because of this many kits focused on giving damage advantages have been greatly diminished in use, as they stand no chance against someone with enchanted gear. (and even back in the day they were not used much) Think of kits like berserker, succubus, thor, zombie and mutant, all quite strong against a leather, but no match for an enchanted iron.

    - As you do not really need diamond gear to pull off a successful farm if you have a small group of players, many people just enchant iron gear to p4 / sh4 with potions, which is good enough to sustain a farm as equipment doesn't break anymore. This has caused the mid to change from a heavily contested area to a place where there usually are only a few irons mining diamonds.

    - Civilians have become even more disadvantaged than they were back in 1.7, back then it was not easy to play annihilation as a civilian, but nowadays you stand no chance against the high amount of farmers. I feel like this is causing many new players to quit as there is not really much in the game for them unless they spend a long time grinding.

    Many solutions have been suggested to combat all of this, however they, in my opinion, do not attack the root of the problem: When annihilation was created, enchanter was balanced in terms of the 1.7 enchanting system, which has turned into a large imbalance in the 1.8 enchantment system. The most simple solution to the imbalance in enchanter is to make enchanting at, say level 20 take 20 levels away form your xp level, just as it was in 1.7. As you can still see what enchants you are getting on a piece of equipment, enchanter is still stronger than how it was back in 1.7 this way. I would also say that it would be best to make blaze power a phase 4+ item once more and make armor breakable. Of cause a common counter argument is that you can kill enchanters in mines, however if you kill them once they will just return with iron equipment, which makes them a lot harder to kill, or they will start digging gravel in their base, with no good way to reach them.

    I'm pretty old on GC and I don't remember 1.7 enchants being a thing? And farmers were rare aswell and well known within the community. Idk about respected tho haha more like hated on sadly :<.

    When anni was created, minecraft was still in version 1.7, which had different enchantments mechanics, which in turn made farming challenging. This is why farmers were somewhat respected as it was quite hard to do a successful farm. (think of spending 40 minutes enchanting, collecting gold for god apples etc)

    I wasn't part of the anni community back then I believe so I can't offer any opinion on this :p Imo 1.8 enchanting is better for anni, xp gaining could be reduced by 10% though

    GC anni was never in 1.7, 1.8 was released in mid summer 2014, anni was released late 2014-early 2015, and i never remember playing it in 1.7..

    Definition of farmer: **** ass piece of shit who sucks so bad at pvp he requires op gear to get fucking kills yet still manages to get rekt by a leather half the time and enjoys ruining the game in phase 4 cause hes a faggot who spawn camps

    Man that is great i hope we go back to 1.7 because now days its even full of hackers in 1.8 and its harder to get hax for 1.7 i hope they change it back like it was before :€ +1

    When anni first released, only minecraft 1.8 was accepteble to play. Minecraft 1.7 wasn't part of annihilation all this time

    i just want new enchants and remove neb enchants as smite bane and enchant who wont effect players only on mobs


    new things i want is anni 2.0 (who will never out and gc still say coming soon)
    after you died and your team ended the menu will show to you how many xp did u got
    and remove greatknockers from the boss then add eff 5 un 3 fortune 3 dia pickaxe on boss or item the u can choose with him the prize
    scout will work on water and underwater (too OP)
    i dont argee with you zwaan maybe make redstone gold iron diamond emerald and lapis give little xp but with enchanter it will x4
    then add xp to enchant per kill as some servers i know


    and wtf is greatknockers? something if anni hate you he give to you greatknockers?
