I think most players hates phantoms.
Stupid thing ever in minecraft.
Something must be done about it if thats possible.

- phantoms broke my armor
- people with no armor get killed so easily
- they spawn less than 1 minute after i spent 2 minutes to kill them
- everyone hates them please do something! save us!
- it is very hard to hit a phantom because they fly so fast...

 

There is a command for ranked people called /rest.You can use it every mc day to get rid of phantoms.Also you can have a cat with you preventing phantom spawns.

 

i tried it and i can't, i have legend rank. and i dont know how to get a cat and i cant always have a cat with me...

 

I disagree.
1. Phantoms drop membranes which is an important material. They're used to fix elytras and brew potions of slow falling.
2. It's common knowledge that phantoms only spawn above a player when they don't sleep for 3+ ingame days so if you don't want them to spawn, just make sure to use a bed and then stand up once in an hour or so.
3. I personally see no problem fighting them, it only requires a full enchanted bow. I have /fly so I even some times fly up and chase them with a looting sword so I could farm more membranes. What's the big deal?
4. Learn some stuff before making a stupid suggestion on the forums... no offense but c'mon, all mobs are a part of the game and they're all important (for crafting, brewing etc.), you can't just throw lyrics out of a song

 

okay but cant we just reduce the spawnrate?
They spawn every 3 minutes and it takes me 2 minutes to kill them -.- i cant do much with phantomd spawning around me everytime

 

As we've already told you, phantoms are not a problem if you just lie on a bed and wake up once in a while, have a cat, or just gear up properly to shoot them. Don't make a big deal outta nothing... Reducing their spawn rate would be okay for me though

 

Sleep in a bed for 5 seconds, they wont spawn for 3 minecraft days lmao

 

Actually people in Minecraft must sleep to prevent phantoms from spawning. I would advocate for reducing its spawn chance, because phantoms are annoying for people who have Iron armour or weaker.

 

I totally agree. There could possibly be a command for people who do not want phantoms to spawn or perhaps maybe the spawn rate should be reduced. The phantoms spawn like it's Ultra Hardcore Minecraft and they spawn every night instead of once every 3 nights.
