»Why removing the Aether on Survival?

I've been planning on building my new castle and dungeons in there next season. I was pretty upset when found out it's gonna be removed with the reset on Survival. I'd just like to know why. Why can't we keep it?

 

Unknown why the Aether got removed, but I assume some people were dead from falling from said Aether.

 

And other my question. So why we can PvP on the end execpt spawn end? it's survival... sigh

 

imo having the aether world is the most unnecessary addition to survival ever, just why add that I was curios why at first but after some time it was just really unnecessary imo

 

It was an alright idea at first like.. being able to fly up to the world limit n be tped to another dimension.. it was cool but as the reset went on, and new players kept joining..almost every one would ask "why are there floating islands" "am I at skyblock" I don't blame the new players ofc. After awhile the Aether just became useless.. it was nice being able to build below islands n stuff cause you had the space n stuff but other than that..whats the point of the Aether.. its pretty useless and I think its good its being removed, more space for other stuff that'll make survival better. That's just my piece.

Look, guys... the main reason I'm even asking why are we removing it is just because this season, I was digging an underground space for a huge dungeon beneath my castle in the overworld (that didn't even have time to finish btw, it's just too big + I couldn't even think we'll have a reset this early) So I had planned to just rebuild all of my kingdom in the Aether with the dungeon being put inside of a floating island so wouldn't have to dig the space again.
...Even besides this, I still see no objective reasons to remove it. The reason why the new folks are confused when they do /wild is not the Aether itself, but because the spawn is located in there. If we just put the spawn in the overworld, this problem will be gone. No need to remove the whole thing.
...I'd also not say it's useless. I'm pretty sure, some people actually like castles on floating islands, they may not be the majority though, but I've seen some players building up in there like Pax and tbi, some folks just like the Aether cause in there, you're less likely to get any neighbors or get all the nature next to your base ravaged by noobs lol
