»Couple of questions

Hello,

I used to play on GuildCraft years ago, I actually was an admin back in the days
So I am considering to enter the server once again but before I do wondered about the following things:

If I get the latest minecraft version (Java Edition) am I able to enter the server or do I need a specific version like (number.number.number)

How many players are there (est.) on the factions server? And is it actually possible to become a staff member again after doing an application etc?

I would like to hear from you guys

For ur other two answer use 1.14 semi latest since 1.15 has not been implemented yet and about the last question fac currently has no player since there is an upcoming reset for fac no idea when is it hopefully in this month and there will be PayPal rewards included so make sure to check it out once its release

Thank you, do you know what the discord server link is? and do you know what the player count was before the reset? And can I select the version in the minecraft launcher?

Reveal has send you the invite for the discord. The player count before reset was like 60-70 players including alts for afk. And pretty sure all launcher have normal mc versions you just need to install them. But if you need like optifine of forge you will need to install it from there websites

 

Hello @DatShop, sorry for replying late but I'll answer most of your questions for you

1. If you're connecting to games that are PvP related such as ArenaPvP, KitPvP or Annihilation, we would still recommend 1.8 as it is the most stable and no versions below that. For Skyblock, Survival and Prison, we recommend any versions between 1.12 to 1.13.x. In general, use only versions between 1.8 to 1.14.x. There are no updates if GC would make 1.15 compatible with the network.

2. I do not personally play Factions, so you would need to ask someone else about the average player count but I don't see why it would matter. If you want to be a staff again, you may apply on the Forums (requirements are stated in the Applications section) or you could try contacting the current Head-Admin of Factions.
