A botnet is a number of Internet-connected devices, each of which is running one or more bots. Botnets can be used to perform distributed denial-of-service attack (DDoS attack), steal data, send spam, and allows the attacker to access the device and its connection.
No, a botnet is a collection of devices infected with a virus AKA zombies. The attacker controls all of the connected devices to his botnet and is then able to "ping" anything connected to WIFI. If you do that with enough bots it's called a DDoS attack. You can not steal any info or use the bots to access the device and its connection. Botting a Minecraft server has nothing to do with a "botnet". --- Double Post Merged, Dec 11, 2019, Original Post Date: Dec 11, 2019 --- Make the server premium so it stops the proxies from logging in with name randomizers.
It's all because of @Reaper0503's strong and stable leadership that survival is now able to attract all these lovely players! I applaud him! We should all thank him for giving us that brighter future we need
lolol people trying to attack gc with bot's... but if only there was a way to profit from this??? oh this right! little do they know they are just increasing the player count on the vote sites and basically failing at their task while essentially just attracting more players to gc. I think thats a hilarious fail. --- Double Post Merged, Dec 12, 2019, Original Post Date: Dec 12, 2019 --- nooo please nooo, don't do that..... poor guy probably has even less of a life then I do.
