I think that in the next reset a mine should be added where pvp is not enabled but doesn't have as many ores in so it makes it easier for people that don't want to be killed while mining as they could need the materials but are too scared to go in and loose their stuff, I also think that a pvp arena should be added like before as that way you wouldn't get people jumping in to mine but people jumping in to pvp. -dragongirlxo
I mean, you can simply farm at your own island if you don't wanna get killed. You can also upgrade your generators for better ores if you want those. If you wanna try and go for the good ores then you also should know about the risk of dying in the PvPMine. A PvP arena would be useless in my opinion as well, since a PvPmine like we currently have is totally fine in my opinion. It's not too small and not too big. We don't have thaaaat much PvP players anyways, so splitting them up into two arena's would just kill PvP more. No offense, just my opinion.
I kind of understand your opinion Aevox, although I think, that the PvP-Mine should get something special back, since there is currently no reason for a mine, other than a generator on your island to be there. It could be like in older resets, where the PvP-Mine had Gold Ore in it and the normal generators just won't produce any gold. My point is basically, that you could also have a normal PvP-Arena, since theres nothing you would lose by removing the mine from the PvP, since I like the idea of a PvP-Mine though, I would probably refer to ideas from older resets. (To make it clear, I basically want a PvP-Mine that u can farm gold in and craft it into golden apples, while the generators on the islands won't produce any gold, like how it was in older resets, or simillar new ideas) ~ WitheredToast aka. The current PvP mine is way better than any generator you can get on your own island. Removing craftable stuff like especially gapples from the shop and then adding gold to the mine would be sly tho. Meeting people in the mine atm often happens because they actually wanna mine there. If they die because you killed them, they might come back to take revenge. This way PvP kind of gets more players. Obviously, without this there would be less PvP players. Adding a PvP arena and removing the PvP from the mine is useless and simply shrinks the amount of players who PvP. Would simply cause a more peaceful Skyblock but even tho it is not an official PvP server, PvP is just a big part of Skyblock.
Oh, sorry, was never really mining in the PvP-Mine, therefore I didn't really know, that it's better than any other generator, although it seems like it has way more Diamonds and Emeralds but no Gold at all (Sorry if im wrong with that). I kind of like the way you see it, but I wasn't talking about removing the PvP from the Mine, I was just thinking about giving it something more speical again, which would also end in people want to mine, get killed and take revenge. ~ WitheredToast aka.
