    The human eye can't see more than 60fps aslong as the monitor is 60hz (normal). Therefore there Isn't any point of having more than 60 fps.

    It still makes your crosshair super choppy and there is a chance he has a 144hz monitor so idk, I have a 60hz monitor and I can't play with my FPS capped on 60, I either cap it to 120 or unlimited

    Must be a minecraft related issue then, cause you simply cannot see more than 60fps on a 60hz screen.

    capping fps can make almost any game choppy. A 60 hz monitor can only display 60 fps, but when you cap your fps, it's not doing that. Your fps doesn't stay at 60. It often dips below.
