Hello Guildcraft staff team and members . So for a while i was concerned about a certain thing . And it is : is lying to staff bannable ? What do i mean by ''lying to staff'' . Well in this case i mean lying about a death (in game) that happened in a way while telling it in a different way to get back the stuff that this player had. For exalple : lets say i had a stack of diamonds on me on survival , i fell from a high place and they got cleared by entity clear , then i contacted staff and said that the server lagged and i got teleported into the air and died like that , while what accualy happened was i fell from a high place trying to do a water bucket trickshot ( just an example) . Is something like that bannable for the player that died and asked staff for their stuff back . Or staff just ignores stuff like that . If there is a ban or something like that for doing it , then what would happen in case there was some stuff that belongs to another player and the other player encourages to lie to staff to get the stuff back Thank you for your time. Hi Omarty, the server rules includes the following two rules that i think applies here: No cheats, hacks, or exploits of any kind. Do not ask the staff for items or ranks Asking our staff for items, ranks or OP is forbidden and will be punished with mutes or even bans. Do not encourage others to break rules Thus lying to staff in order to get back stuff is not allowed, and can result in punishment, and encouraging others to do so likewise. If you know of any exploits like this, please report it here or on discord.
In addition to what Mak said admins and up have logs of what goes on or whatever happens to a player, itll take a few days of investigation but we eventually find out. As for the lying part, please just dont its a really really asshole way of losing our trust on a player. We trust that what each player reports is true thanks again for posting your concern
