it is not a problem. Its called confidence. If i do not get mod this time. I can always get it next time, so no it is not a problem. Stop trying to be smart with me. Thanks.
It shows that this position is something you seek for only for the sake of being powerful. I hope @short1der see that you have such an asshole attitude and should not be promoted to moderator.
I'm not gonna write an essay, I'll just write what I feel and try to keep it short. @donalddoyson is of the best, most underrated, most friendly and most hard working staff member in Guildcraft I've ever met. He always cared about Guildcraft, he always wanted to help it somehow. This is Guildcraft's loss more than his. If Guildcraft loses good and hard working staff members like him, then this server will be dead by a fortnight I'm sure. And can we stop with all the rants above? This is a farewell thread not a fight ground. The best we can do is give him a good farewell!
If wanting to help the server really bad because everyone is quitting and the chat is toxic is being thirsty then I don’t know what is..... I’m not being thirsty I’d just really like to help factions. --- Double Post Merged, Aug 1, 2018, Original Post Date: Aug 1, 2018 --- How does it show I want it just for being powerful ? Tell me what shows that I want it just to feel powerful. I never said nothing to make anyone think I want it just to be powerful. You are just coming up with random shit out of your a$$ because you have nothing good to say. Stop hating. If you are gonna say proclaiming myself as a future mod is bad then give a good reason not a shit one that you got out of your a$$. I said I’m going to be a future mod because I still have a lot more time to apply and show others I’m capable of mod even if I get denied because this just just my 2nd time applying
Thanks for giving a mature answer and thereby proving you're suited for the staff position, Mr. Future Mod.
Even though i spoke with you only a couple of times since i never played facs much you seemed like a cool guy It is sad that guildcraft is dying fast, but its kinda too late to do much now But i wish you the best of luck and hope everything geos well for you, peace
Have a Nice life man . Waiting to meet you on the other side . One of the best admin i have ever met on GC and one of my good friends .
There is a thin line between 'confidence' and 'excessive desire.' I don't need to be a genius to quickly identify that you have an excessive desire for staff -- one of the staff's main requirements is to be humble to some extent. It's fine to be confident enough to think that you're suitable for mod. But for you to pubicly, and pre-emptive-ly announce yourself as a 'future mod', likewise 'I'm gonna be a mod soon guys, I'm that suitable, and if I'm not, I'll apply once again' does not humor me or anyone else into thinking that you're just 'trying to help the server'. To be frank it's quite arrogant to assure yourself that you'll be a staff member someday, no matter what the case is. This is the literal assumption I can draw from what you say. Being staff isn't something you can check off your bucket list, which you apparently can't understand. These are just my thoughts and some others. We made an observation, we didn't personally attack you. Alright, then. I guess saying that you're a future moderator is fine, and it draws motivation and confidence. Fine. However, people decided to challenge that. Then how did you respond? Especially considering you said: "You are just coming up with random shit out of your a$$ because you have nothing good to say. Stop hating. If you are gonna say proclaiming myself as a future mod is bad then give a good reason not a shit one that you got" To start with, no one's hating you, for god's sake. Some people are criticizing you for you calling yourself a 'future mod'. Yet much less of not taking the criticism and even considering it, you can't seem to find the different between criticism and hate whatsoever. It's literally a meme and a norm in GC that staff shouldn't be overconfident, which the members followed. Instead of respond to that rightfully and explaining why we were wrong, you decided to apparently get angry and start personally attacking people. I'm in no position to tell you what a staff member should do, but I believe it's quite obvious that they need to have common sense. Members criticized you because you did something out of the ordinary that they didn't approve, and you didn't take it in well. Then you started swearing at them for 'hating' you which pretty much exposes your level of maturity. Pretty disappointed to see how you responds to critics, for someone who's so confident in themselves. Repeating, you did something that isn't accepted well here, and isn't viewed well in general. It would've been much more mature to carefully elaborate on why you think so instead of potentially attacking people who don't agree with you. Jeez... "Stop trying to be smart with me. Thanks." No offense, but that's one of the most one-dimensional things I've ever heard lol. You go up to someone, and you say 'I'm so confident to be mod because if I get denied I can get accepted again, which will repeat, and eventually I'll become a mod. Therefore I'm a future mod." I don't think I need to elaborate on how absurd this is, but you should seriously consider taking a switch into how you view people, criticism and staff in general. ...Did I really have to write all of this? I expected you to understand it in the first place, but you didn't, so here it is. Also I wanted to elaborate on why you're definitely not a 'future mod' any time soon. Just my completely honest opinion. Therefore this is a "good reason not a shit one that you got" and instead of talking shit and people I expect you to respond in a good manner of some extent if you have to at all. I feel bad for having to take a part of trashing donalddoyson's farewell post but this apparently had to be made. edit: tagging @short1der so that he can see how mature you are
