»Hitting nexus = lag

This is a simple bug i can't explain in details : hitting a nexus causes a lot of lag that makes it hard to defend

 

i think you're just laggy, try to enhance your settings for optifine (disable particles)

 

As the time someone is breaking a nexus, everyone says "lag" in chat

 

thats over exaggerated, not everyone will say lag. When you mine someone's nexus ofc there are particles will appear, you might be laggy because of those.
