Hey! Its my first post on here, and I decided to compile some stuff for beginners Lets get into it, I hate beating the bush. Part 1: First join When you connect to Factions for the first time, you should have a starter pack of A set of iron armour Diamond pickaxe Diamond sword (I need to confirm, so long since I first joined) 16 Oak wood planks 32 stone If anything is missing, tell me. Lets move along! Now say /wild in order to get a random position in the wild. Note: *Do not move once you've said the command, until you have been teleported to the wild!* Once in the wild, find a flat position. This is where your house is gonna be. But don't build so fast, create a faction first, this is the purpose of the game! Create a Faction using /f create {faction name}. After that, claim land on where you are going to build your house on by using this /f claim safezone. After that just build! Part 2: Earning money for starters I think by now, you have noticed you have a money balance of 100. You want to expand this. Here goes nothing. Create a melon farm. This is a money maker for starters. If you do not know how to create a melon farm, search google for the answers After your melon farm is done, harvest them. Then say /shop Then go to food (Apple icon) Now right click on the melon icon, and click the green stained glass next to the red stained glass. It should get your money levels up (This one depends on how many melons harvested) Note: I bet you cant have a big farm, so don't expect much cash for first timers. One hint is to use the shop to expand your farm using the money you already have from selling those melons from your small farm. Part 3: Building up your faction You have a faction already (I think) from what you created in part 1 of the tutorial. But it has no members, it has just you! Follow this guide First, find other people who want to join a faction Now, say /f invite {usernamewhowantstojoinafactionhere} If they are beginners, too, tell them to say /f join {Yourfactionname} After that, you will obviously want your members assembled near you. Ask them to say /tpa {Yourusername} If you are that desperate for faction members, you can say /f open. This way anyone can join like its a tea party. Same for leaving. Beware though, more black sheep might come into your faction this way Now you have completed all 3 parts, here's what you achieved. A claimed land, where your house rests on A melon farm, a pretty good source of income for beginners A faction with members
