Hey, This tutorial is for Minecraft 1.8+ ( i recommend Minecraft 1.8.9).
For beginning YOU NEED OPTIFINE! ( I RECOMMEND THE LATEST VERSION ).

    1. Go to options.
    2. Go to video settings.
    3. Put your Graphics on fast.
    4. Put Smooth Lighting: Off.
    5. Put smooth lighting level off.
    6. Max framerate blocked at 65-120.
    7. View Bobbing Off.
    8. Use VBOs ON.
    9. Alternate Blocks Off.
    10. Fog start 0.8.
    11. Go to quality settings and put everything off ( where you can to set "fast" do it ).
    12. Go to details and put everything off ( where you can to set "fast" do it ).
    13. Go to Animation settings and put everything off, and particles all.
    14. Go to Performance settings and put Smooth fps off; smooth world off; Fast render on; fast math on; turn Chunck updates to 1.
    15. Go to Other settings and put everything off/default; autosave 3min.
    16. You need to update your java to latest version.
    17. Don't use any mod/HACK ;-;.
    18. You can always turn down your Render distance to whatever works for you, i recommend 2/3/4/5 for bad computers.
    19. Use 16x16 or 8x8 texurepacks.
    20. If you are still lagging from here i can't help you anymore, you need to upgrade your pc :).

PS. Its possible that you dont need to do all steps to get good fps again, it depends on your computer. Also this thread isnt there to make your minecraft look better.

This was my tutorial, if i helped you rate this post and reply to me, if you have anymore questions feel free to send me a pm, Bye..

Some mods help with fps and most mods don't decrease fps anyways.

If the mods fill up the memory it may start lagging, but this happens when you have lots of mods, especially game packs.

    The cringe oml

Everyone don't do what he said above it won't help you, everyone knows about optifine

    https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-CDEjp3iZNwirdST97r1raS-cPeTwfZLgvPAjK1ta_4/edit

That's 1 FPS boost the Canalex and Powns made which helped me a ton

Set your res to 1280x720 in windows and play on full screen (This helps me so much and makes my renders look much nicer)

    Use MemoryMod by Prplz

That's it, from a 60 fps loser than played on a really res at 2 render distance, I know play at 6 render distance, full screen and constant 200+ fps

also set java to high performance & minecraft launcher.exe (old trick in task manager but some ppl don't know)
and also clear ur %temp% all the time, especially if you play roblox cuz roblox takes so much space (these files are temp btw)

    Hey..
I made this post to help people and guess what, compared to you i succeeded..
Btw most of the fps lagers don't know about these settings...I'm not talking sht here, i tasted all and compared to default settings, you will get 200-300 more fps...As i said above this tutorial is made for fps lagers and you dont need to do all steps to get good fps, so next time when you want to suggest an idea don't start like this, you are just annoying and impolite..

No one listen to this loser, he knows nothing lol

Everyone knows about Optifine and for some people it takes up memory and makes them lag more and you don't know anything about how RAM and Memory works so you straight up just said to download optifine with the settings, honestly this whole post is useless, everyone knows about Optifine and the correct settings, it's 2018 not 2013 searching for Optifine settings

Research before making the stupidest posts
