What are you suggesting?
Server should add a /chatrules command. It's a command which shows brief information regarding the chat rules.

On which server would you like it to get added?
This command should be added on each and every server.

Why should we add this?
The server needs to show its players the chat rules so that everyone is informed and knowledgeable about it. You guys may say that the chat rule is pretty obvious and requires common sense but there are still few young players out there who needs guidance. Most of the players, both old and new, doesn't have a clue of what the server chat rules are because it's not shown in game nor on forums. How do we expect players to follow the rules when it's in fact not shown anywhere. The cycle of mutes everyday just keeps on going and is just repetitive/continous. We basically have a /rule command, so why not add this. Another thing is that for the players to stop asking for unmutes or accusing a staff to have made a false or a wrong mute.

Will this benefit the server?
This will benefit the server in maintaining a peaceful and a lovely community but not financially.

Spam & Flooding: Spamming is when a player sends a message three times a row while flooding is intentionally spamming random characters.
Hackusation: Accusing another player of hacks.

This is good, as the signs at spawn don't usually provide much detail and can leave players confused.
It will be quick and easy for new players to see the rules without leaving or doing much, and can easily be reminded without visiting spawn.

Nice idea, put the command on a sign or on signs in spawn.

 

Raba made /rules before he resigned but it had bad grammar and the rules werent numbered correctly.

 

Now that in paper, this idea is a good one, now that there has been a surge of insufferable oafs who whines in PvP like a firework. However, in practice people simply doesn't read anymore, unless an automatic broadcasting thing is set up for this purpose i don't see a huge chance of success to curb chat violence with this idea.

+1 cos also some servers like eggwars have their rules in weird places that people dont see because theyre too far back, as well as them being all the rules at once which is pretty lengthy, as opposed to short and snappy rules

Sounds like a good plan to me, I will talk to aXed and Short1der to make this happen. I don't think this is too hard to add.
