There's this rule on GuildCraft that states that you're not allowed to bump old posts, although it's mostly a common rule and isn't in the actual 'Forum Rules' page. It seems to have been created to mostly prevent post farmers from posting the usual "Nice idea +1 xddd". I recently commented on a post I had absolutely no intention in post farming as someone said something intriguing there. Of course an admin comes, tells me to not bump threads over a month old, and locks it up.

Now, I don't blame the admin, as rules are rules. But I find it pathetic how posts aren't allowed to be continued for discussion - doesn't necessarily mean how old they are decides the intentions of a player. More of this occured in the "Suggestions and Feedback" section where some nerd decided to mini-mod and say 'dont bump old posts, requesting lock to prevent post farm' despite the fact that the poster had simply countered the topic and continued the discussion. These topics are still clearly open for discussion, especially suggestion/bug report threads - ALSO considering that higher staff haven't looked into the threads (yet) and replied, discussion is still open and there's no reason to block stating your point of view in that particular topic.

So to sum it up, I wish for this to be altered so that only people with intentions to post farm are dealt with, not people who want to add something to the discussion. Believe me, it isn't hard to see whether they're trying to post farm or not. Full disclosure..

Edit: Tagging @DarkKillerPT so that he can stop making those minimodding posts about not bumping old posts. I'm sorry if I'm shaming you, but you're crossing the line here

Agree with this, tbh is really annoying when a post-farmer says "requesting lock to prevent post-farming" :|||

Mini modding is a cheap way to show off to the staff, but sadly that's what some people use when they want to get staff (again, not all). Some people actually work hard for ranks, others just do what I mentioned earlier ^^ . Mini modding is an embarassing thing to do imo.
This was my opinion on this. Also, an obvious statement here is that useful suggestions should never be locked. I don't think I need to mention the reason tho, it's just common sense.
(Pls dont lock this post because I posted this just a few days after, didnt mean to :( )
