Motivation: For starters, I absolutely enjoy programming - I have spent the past six years of my life programming in my free time. Its safe for me to say that I enjoy it more than playing video games at times. I find it to be a very rewarding experience. Furthermore, I want to continue to help GuildCraft become a better place to play. By becoming a developer, I will be able to help the community in a more meaningful way that I genuinely enjoy.
What I will bring: A broad set of skills and knowledge of computer logic and programming. My broad knowledge allows me to learn new programming languages and skills very quickly.
Experience: I have six years of programming experience. In this time, I have worked with six languages, including C#, Java, ActionScript 3.0, SmileBASIC 2.0, SmileBASIC 3.0, and RoboC. Starting at age 12, I picked up a simple little DSiWare game called Petit Computer; here I learned my first programming language as well as some fundamentals of programming. During my freshman year of high school, I joined a programming club at my high school, where I learned C# and how to use the Unity game engine. Sophomore year I learned ActionScript 3.0 (Adobe Flash's language) and continued to work with C# and Unity. Junior year I learned to program with RoboC and how to design robots with VEX. Over my summer vacation, I learned how to program with Java and designed my first plugin within a week. Soon after, I created a staff mod called "GCMA" (arguably what I'm best known for among the staff team). I have been consistently working on this project since August, where it has received numerous updates and received a second version. Recently, I overhauled my first plugin majorly and began work on a chat control plugin (that gives chat cooldowns based on permissions like "shortcc.cooldown.[Time in Seconds]"). About four days ago, I began work on a custom enchantment plugin that I'm calling "ShortEnchants".

No video, but I added Pokemon style "types". Each mob has typings that influence damage input and output. There are custom enchants to change your own typings too.
