I'm not really hip with the news, but it seems we lost the fight for net neutrality....
This will cause having to pay money to go to facebook, youtube, snapchat, and more
I'm not sure if this is true but it seems like that and if it is...
It's a sad day...

It doesn't mean that.

It means that ISP (internet provider) can give different priority to different traffic through their servers. So, Verizon could give top priority to traffic from Hulu, and low priority to Netflix, because Hulu paid them and Netflix didn't. Then Verizon users who bought Netflix will have slow service.

It has nothing to do with paying for Facebook. It might mean Facebook will have to pay some providers for better service to the users.

This will eventually affect the whole world, though right now it actually means nothing because many companies were already doing this and hardly anyone noticed. It will get worse now though.
