Whats this post about? Ive seen alot of the pvpers in /warp pvp always complain about people butting in on 1v1, anyone can butt in I mean it is pvp enabled. Now what I suggest is simple(I think, hope it is easy to implement ), /Duel <player-name> What is it? players can type this in to duel just 1 specific player, and other people who wanna butt in wont be able to deal damage to players who are in /duel mode. I think it would be great to add, also if its possible you can do this in any other of the worlds(like the overworld, /spawn or nether or even in the end). Also it would be awesome that: INFO: 1)players can duel anyone to their liking, it can be toggable wherein you can choose to ignore player duel challenges or not. 2)players have a 20 second cool down before they can send another duel invite(so that annoying people wont use it that much to spam players with duel invites). 3)before they can fight theres a 10 second preparation time for both to get ready and comfy. 4)after the duel is finished a 20 second delay time before they can initiate another duel. 5)players can not tp away and if they leave at least give them some form of penalty(I mean come on dont be a noob you accepted it man up and accept your loss). Likely commands? > /duel <playername> = sends a duel invite to a player > /duel <playername> accept = accepts the invite sent by a player > /duel <playername> deny = denies the invite sent by a player > /tduel = toggles on or off duel invites sent by players > /duel block <playername> = blocks invites from that specific player I hope this gets implemented might be a cool little thing to add in survival :3 EDIT: a friend of mine made a good point which led to this addition, /duel will only last 10mins and it wont be available when supply drop is gonna happen in 30 minute mark, for 35 minutes it sha;; be disabled. Or maybe they could go to PracticePvP... I think people should be allowed to butt in. It's warp pvp after all. People could go in said "duel mode" and then not fight each other therefore gaining 10 minute immunity. There are a lot of possible exploits. Seriously if you want a fair fight you should just go on PracticePvP. Pro tip, neat server.
thanks hope it does I forgot to add that the people who are in /duel cant deal damage to other players except the one they are in /duel with, and true I agree it is fun when its hella chaotic but there are some players(like me) who wanna 1v1 people without having to go downgrade to 1.8 for pracpvp.
Well, it seems like a nice suggestion. But then what if you jump into /warp pvp and try to attack someone, and they are in a /duel? You can't attack them.. In my opinion it's a good suggestion, but also has a lot of downsides to it.
as I said if you are in a /duel you cannot do damage to other players except the one you are in a /duel with and outside attacks cant damage you as well meaning other players cant hit you or your /duel opponent regardless if yer in /warp pvp. true2, but its just my suggestion hoping it would stop the cry babies(like me) in pvp from saying "anon A yer such a fag 2v1 me" or something along the lines like that

sadly yes there are alot of exploits, but like all things trials and errors have to be made I guess true and pracpvp is a good place to pvp, problem is its such a hassle to downgrade to 1.8 or 1.7 just t0 g0 0n there. And yes you can go on survival in 1.8 or 1.7, the problem with that is you wont be able to use the newer features and items, which I need since I love the new blocks thank you, that would be practice pvp as stated by the many comments above on this post I made, and it all depends if you want spam clicking 1.8 is for you, if you want I guess a bit of a challenge 1.12
To make pvp you need good FPS '-' I have PC gamer guy '-' Imagine pc 500 dollars XD No offense to who don't have conditions
Overall it is a good suggestion, but honestly my thoughts coincide with Dev. I liked pvp because it was frantic, everyone could help his team mates as well as betray them. Also, if this gets added mcmmo parties would be pointless since I'm sure everyone would "abuse" the command. Better fix the current bugs than adding other stuff
Disagree. This is not Practice. I suggest you if you want a /duel then i must say Practice PvP is your place. And also i agree to Vacuum, we need to fix existing problems, not add more things that leads up to even more problems
