Of course swearing is part of our social life, everyone does it at times. This obviously doesn't mean u can just go around and swear at anyone and anything who in your opinion does something wrong. There's certain places where you should control your anger and one of those is our public chat. I never said provocative behavior towards eachother is not okay, it's a major part of factions. In fact, it makes it competitive and fun. This doesn't mean that we should let this get out of hand like it has in the past few weeks/months. It goes from provoking eachother to making personal comments, insulting eachother and hour-long provoke sessions that don't seem to end. The public chat is supposed to be a nice and peaceful environment for everyone. This, again, doesn't mean u can't say anything. Staff actually tolerates toxicity a lot to a certain extent, but there is a line and if you cross it you will be punished.
I really don't understand how you called my response "invalid" as if my arguments weren't good. Everything I said was true, you have to control your anger or release it in another place/way than doing it in the public chat. And yes, punishments may cause the person to become even more toxic, but this only counts for the childish and immature people who are unable to take constructive criticism and adapt to it.
Calling me a perfect example of how staff reacts to players and going on to calling it "pathetic" is literally the saddest thing I have ever seen. I tolerate a lot of stuff from players but rules are rules, when you cross the line I will punish you for it.
Speaking of "pathetic" as you like to call it, the perfect example of "pathetic" is faking you are a staff-member just to get unmuted (which you did to me, LOL).

I would rather not react to @Bunny2hot4u2c post in this treat, couse i believe this will not add anything to the discussion nor essay. Tho I feel like we should not point any fingers (I read my post again and believe this was the case in my reaction). I would like to give my excuses to any (staff) member that got offended by any fingerpointing.

Secondly I see players react more infuriated than before. I would like to see people respond correctly and keep this a ‘happy environment’.

Thirdly I would like to point out the small pattern I noticed while reading the comments. This really struck me when I noticed it. Most in game players (non staff members) often respond happily and open on any given advice or changes, but some staff members respond like they need to defend something. As I said this is only based out of the few comments this treat has received but it was something that I thought would be worth to point out. For any staff members reading this post, it is not an attack towards you guys, it is an advice I would hope to give u and I hope this will give the reader some perspective to base their opinion oppon.

 

I agree with Jordo i played GC for so many years now and the Toxic faction vs faction is not any kind of new and you cant just remove it please stop it

 

even back in the day people would trashtalk eachother everyday. its not old players who brings the toxicity, its the new players. a little bit of toxicity without swearing is ok since it is part of factions and makes it fun/competitive, but going from trashtalking to irl shits is just too much.

Totally true !.... for 14 year old+. I know I'm going far with this but I am pretty sure this is what aXed wants : A friendly server for ALL ages. If some 10 year old kid was to come on the chat and see a bunch of different wear words being used over and over again, they'lee pick it up and it will eventually be said in front of his/her parents which might cause the parent to remove some privileges at home aka a consequence. Point is even though player base that care is probably over 14, there are still some players out there that are young and that shouldn't be badly influence by a game mostly made at the root for that group of age.

At this point its still aXed decisions on what audience he wants to please. Staff members are just respecting and enforcing his politics.



@Jojojordo123 I think it would be great to have a talk about this We could maybe get to a compromise while still respecting what aXed wants for his server!

Patiently waiting for a reaction from @aXed , if any staff feels like they have arguments or perspectives that they would like to introduce in the debate. this is your change.


I would like to remind players and staff to react serious and mature. If not I will take further steps to get your post removed from the treat.

All I see here is "I love engaging in shit talk, and without the ability to downgrade other people from rival factions I have no reason to live. If you remove my ability to mock people for not being able to win at a game, I will actually die."
