    Hello everyone I will tell you how to allocate more ram to minecraft Let me show:
    1.You need at least 4 GB ram For me I have 8 GB
    2.Open up your minecraft
    3.Go to Launch Option
    4.Click on +add new
    5.Pick version you like
    6.Save
    7.Turn on Enable Snapshot and Advance setting
    8.Click on the version you save and Turn on JVM arguments
    9.delect the note in it and paste the amount of GB u want For me I allocate for 3 GB
    10.Save and done

    Allocate:
    1 GB :-Xmx1024M
    2 GB:-Xmx2048M
    3 GB:-Xmx3072M
    4 GB:-Xmx4096M
    5 GB:-Xmx5120M

    You would never need more than the default 1 GB ram for minecraft....

    Play with a shader and you will see the need

    Maybe if you use an nvidia bread 69 gpu :D

    You do if you use a big texture pack or alot of mods with forge

    lol, most modpacks require you to have atleast 4gb allocated in your minecraft or it wont let you play

    u will need more :D and i got 16gigz in my pc with is nutty

    i give mc 6gigz ram and when im running a lot of mods i use 8 try it, it will give u about 50 fps extra but i got a 144hz moniter and i range about 780 fps all cuz my heart AKA my gtx 1070 :D

    I run with 8gb by default. I find it's a good max amount to use if you have 16gb+ ram in your system.
    So mine looks like this:

    -Xmx8192M -Xms8192M

    I also add this jvm argument to the java profiles in the control panel's java menu just to make sure ;)

    Graphics card make the difference. Not the RAM. With a good graphic card you get more FPS but with a good RAM u can use more mods.
