Hello community,
I'm posting this threat after i read the new rules once again, Here is [my own] suggestions,
please don't get angry from what I'm saying, that's my own suggestions and waiting your replies, so yeah lets start.

1- Admins/Mods have to give warns before giving mutes for an example, I'm a new player !
i was searching on internet and found GC server! when I joined, i said in chat 'hi I'm a new player', None told me hi, then i spammed it once again, and i got mute for 4h .-..
because of that I'm giving this suggestion, another example is ME, I was bored when i got perm banned by false, then i went to internet and typed 'Cracked minecraft servers' !
then i found a nice server, when i joined i said 'hi guys i just joined' then i got warned for talking another language in chat.... this server was Chinese server..
that's a pretty got example, So guys I'm saying once again, It'll be good if they will give warns before muting, The warn could help someone for not being muted. THE WARN IS ONLY FOR MUTING NOT FOR HACKING. **** HACKERS

2- The other is just simple suggestion, Mutes of 2h have to be used, for example if i said 'hiiiiii' why this would be 4H ? It is a simple mute [simple mute is when someone spams a letter 6-8 times] / [and this shouldn't be counted in 25 mutes perm ban] And also before muting for 2h Admins/Mods have to give a warn.

3- 3rd suggestion is about the 20-25 mutes, If I'm 4hmed, having 14 mutes in total, and i got 1 after the rule and 13 before the rule, I should have more 19 mutes till the 10d ban.

4- the 4th and last suggestion is NO PERM BAN FOR CHATTING!!!
I'm suggesting that after the 3rd suggestion was used! when someone gets 20 mutes he gets 10d MUTE NOT BAN, guys chatting is different from hacking..
I'm repeating 'chatting is different from hacking'.. I'm suggesting that when i get 20 mutes i get 10d mute, 25 mutes 30d mute, 50 mutes = PERM MUTE ! guys this'll be better.. No perm ban for chatting!, GC can lose alot of major players if they got perm ban for chatting.. And another thing is that... Add 'Buy unmute' Like buying unban there should be buying unmute, if someone got perm mute after 50 mutes he can buy an unmute which costs X£ !

Sorry added this: if he was busted, using /w someone while muted a ban have to take place.

1- They warn new players before muting them like they do /bminfo name and If they have previous warns they mute them If the new player doesn't have warns they warn him.
2- If you can read xph11 said small mutes from 2-4 hours doesn't count from your 25 mutes.
4- Gameplay in minecraft is nothing without chat, and They can also keep being toxic after getting perm mute by /msg

Hello my friend, 1- Sometimes i spam without knowing and directly i get mute
2- I NEVER SEEN someone muted 2h.. go other servers and see [skyblock/faction] u will find always 4h 4h4 h44h4h4h4h4h4h4
4- After 25mutes it is perm ban, btw WHY ? itz_sherif if u was perm muted, u can use /w ik but, he cant Chat in global.. and i think /w is banable

Hello! Thanks for the suggestions but let me make it clear for you as much as I can.

1- Most of the times we give warnings to the new players.. However, there are some situations in which we don't give a warning (like racism and etc.). We can't give you warning for every single rule. The rules are for that- to be read and then to not break them. When you join in our server you immediately agree with the rules and you have to follow them. After we see you got 1,2 warnings we start muting.

2- My personal opinion is that there should be even more strict rules. As you can see even the 4h mutes are not stopping the toxic and immature behavior.. Before few months we used to give 2-4h for flood but there were too much complains about it because most of the players were like "heey you muted me for 4h because i flood but you mute him for 2h omggg". Now is simple- you flood- you get 4h mute.

3, 4- About the mutes and bans.. Itz_Sherif already told you why are banning after 25 mutes. I am not sure how it is now because i was inactive for a month or so, but before that we used to ban on 20th mute for 10 days and on 25th mute- permanent ban. If the player had more than 25 mutes before the rule , for example 42, ban for 10 days on 45th mute and on 50th mute- perma ban. If you had 55 mutes- 60th mute = 10d ban, 65th= perma ban. We tried to not count the small mutes, that are less than 10h, but it was too complicated and we started counting each mute.. I believe is the same and now, but not 100% sure :/. If I am wrong, please correct me..

Keeping the chat clear is as much important as keeping it safe from hackers . We need friendly community, not players that always let off the steam in the chat . I hope you understand what I said. Have a nice day!

25th mute perm ban is shit. How about a 10 day ban each time you reach the 25th mute? (regardless of the intensity of the offense) I think its better in my opinion rather than perm ban.
OR
First 10 day ban would be on the 25th mute, then another 10 day ban on 30th mute, 35th mute etc etc. Basically 10day ban each 5 mutes after the 25th offense.

 

What's the problem just to be calm and don't break the rules?

 

I was expecting this reply. But, not all mutes are justified you know. Randies cant even argue with that. What if some of those kinds of mute add up to their way to the 25th mute threshold?
And, is perm ban really a suitable punishment for a bunch of mutes? I think not. I know you want to be as harsh as possible to keep the community disciplined, but perm ban is just too much.
My suggestion on the 10day ban per 5 mutes after the 25th mute is balanced (in my own opinion) as to keep the community clean and disciplined at the same time without sacrificing player numbers.

If the mute is unjustified there is a specific section in the forum called "Unban/ Unmute requests". If you have read the rules and follow them you will not recieve any punishments .

 

No, ironcreeper's new suggestion is good NO PERM BAN just 100 repetitive banning each 5 mutes..

Oh btw I agree with some on it. However, I disrespectfully disagrees with you that admins do not warn people before muting. If you're a new player you should be warned. If you're an old player, you should know these rules.

 

ye iron creeper is right about the false mutes, ive been false muted a couple times and they still count.
and i like the 10 day ban every 5 mutes better than the perm ban even tho i prob wont get perm banned.

 

1. Mutes can be false.
2. Bet on 500€ if you weren't staff/tryhard for staff you would've agreed.

 

Actually I have been 1-2 years member before getting staff.. I had only 4-5 mutes i think.. All of them were because I didn't know the rules . I told you already.. If the mutes are unjustified there are unmute request.. And don't worry.. We always read your mute history to see if there are false mutes . That's why we ban first time for 10 days.. And then if the next 5 mutes are correct- you are not welcome in the community anymore..

 

Some times I would be too happy then say that a and or maybe I spam the letter more times ..
Or sometimes I use the up bottom to repeat /warp shop and I find it repeated the same sentence

Thx for supporting me but, english is not my main language so yeah, it is good for me.. As it is my sec language. And it is understood
