Alright, it's yah boi thealmightysuggestor back with another suggestion, but this time its big. I want to introduce a game called PVP Warfare. Feel free to drop a comment on how to improve this suggestion including everything and anything. Really, I'm not joking. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ INSPIRATION Now, some of you may or may not know the server "CraftRealms", but they're a small server with around 500 players on usually (like Guildcraft), but they have this one amazing gamemode, called PVP Wars that always has a huge amount of players compared to their total server count. Usually around 50. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ WHO'LL LIKE IT? This is a highly PVP oriented gamemode that focuses on killing and capturing objects. People from Factions and KitPVP will love this gamemode. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ MECHANICS/GAMEPLAY Now, the point of the game. Well, there are many. First, you need to have a large map, of course, because the matches need to be 25V25. Honestly, this is the only problem, that we don't have these large maps. Most maps will have two teams, red and blue. Different gamemodes require different maps, and after each match, the gamemode will be rotated, as well as the map. Teams will chat by default to their team only, but can do /all /public /g /global to enable and toggle public chat. Then you can do /t /team to talk to your team. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ DEFAULT ITEMS Each gamemode will have a scoreboard on the side to give players information on kills, points, captures, etc. In each gamemode, a kill will give you a soup to heal for 4 hearts and 4 arrows. Players start of with chainmail chestplate, chainmail leggings, iron helmet, and iron boots. They start of with one soup. Players can not make any more soups, without killing other players. In some of these gamemodes, you will be allowed to break blocks and build, but in some you will not be allowed to. Again, remember that this whole gamemode is based on PVP, not spending half the time mining and smelting iron to make a full set of iron amour, but to only die to a hacker using killaura. Maps that you can break and build on should have an iron core at the center that is made up of iron blocks. Players can break these to get 9 iron and can return to the base to make iron armor. When killed on maps that you can break and build, all items are dropped. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ GAMEMODES Team Deathmatch (10 minutes round): Each kill is worth 2 points. Capturing the base at mid will give you 4 points every second. The way to capture the base is to stay on the cap point and to have more players on it then the other. Kills grant a player a soup that heals them for 4 hearts. First to (THIS NUMBER CAN CHANGE), 200 points wins. Starting items will be the default items stated above ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Capture the Flag (15 minute round): Three different flags are on each side of the map. The flags can be called the "East Flag", "Center Flag", and "West Flag". Players have to capture the flags (which can be anything, such as wool or any item, really). The flags are on islands or on separate regions on the map. They aren't just grouped up in one point. Once a player goes to the enemy team's side and reaches their flag region, they cannot take damage from the enemy players. Players who reach the region also automatically receive a potion for speed 1 as well. Players must then leave the area and run back to their side of the map and place the flag on one of the three pedestals located in their spawn. Dying will result in the flag going back to the enemy base, and will not be dropped. Players should have a various amount of items like wood, pickaxe, axe, ladders to build and to break. ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Domination (10 minute round): 3 points, West, Center, and East, and on the center line of the map. The points are spread out. Each point provides a distinct advantage. Capture the West point and all the players will earn an iron bar every 2 seconds and team will earn 2 points per second. Capture the East point and players will gain Speed 1 and the team will earn 2 points per second. Capture the Center and your team will earn 4 points per second. Kills count for only 2 points. First to 1000 points wins. Players can break and build on this map, but not near the points. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This could honestly become a very popular gamemode. On the server, that inspired me to make this, the game was packed with players every time and it was hard to join in because the teams were immediately at max capacity when a new round started. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I'LL KEEP UPDATING THIS POST, PLEASE LEAVE A SUGGESTION BELOW. THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS. Vote on the poll if you want, and if you just dislike the idea because you think it would never happen you can leave a 'No' and put disagree, but obviously with more likes than dislikes this gameplay might possibly be implemented. I know it's a long shot to get a new gamemode in, but this will bring more players in, instead of all this "Oh, new prison gamemode, let's wait 4 months", "oh Minigame v2, yeah this'll bring in all the players" or "ohh 20 players on Anni, let's update it". Jk jk PVP is a big reason I play on Guildcraft, personally, and I feel a lot of other people agree.
