»Problem in annihilation and possible solutions

In 2015 and the start of 2016 i used to play alot of annihilation on this server. I slowly lost interest (as is usually do with all games) but i have found myself drawn back into the game the last couple of weeks. While i think annihilation has gotten alot better over al (map variety, kits, playing to win and not just for xp) there is one big problem for me. This is the terrible inconsistency and apparent randomness of bans and mutes. The rules posted in the annihilation lobby are not followed by alot of players, and mods dont seem te act against that most of the time.
However, sometimes people just get banned or muted for no reason at all, or at least not because of breaking the rules. In those cases the ban/mute reasons are sometimes not listed at all, and sometimes a random accusation that does not reflect the situation. Examples of this are 'provoking' and 'bad sportmanship'. Of course some players that get muted or banned DO fall in that category, but alot of others dont. Right now mods are seemingly just muting and banning however they (dont) like and no action seems to be taken. I have even seen people muted for saying that they dont like certain maps. This problem makes the game alot less enjoyable, because players allways have to watch out for mutes and bans they dont even deserve. After all annihilation is a team game and playing muted is not alot of fun.

Possible solutions for this issue vary from making it possible to report mods for players or to review random bans and mutes mods have given for fairness and consistency. For annihilation on Guildcraft to be truly enjoyable for everyone there needs to be a set of rules, that get enforced consistently. No random mutes, but no ignoring offences either. I am confident that Guildcraft can overcome this issues if they are taken seriously, and i look forward to having a fair and consistent mod team.

It will be Locked instantly and There isn't any staff will look at it so Besure to use It.

I am sorry, But this suggestion isn't useful at all.

 

My problem is not with the rules, the rules are crystal clear. The problem is that they dont get enforced consistently by the mods in annihilation.

I am not trying to appeal a ban or mute, just trying to start a conversation about something that is making the game experience worse for alot of players.

About the report link, i will try to take a screenshot or video next time i see this happen and report the mod. I am not sure wether that will solve the broader issue though.

 

All moderators look after the chat when they are ingame but sometimes some mutable offences gets overlooked cause some of us have clan chat normal chat and even more chats

 

if they hate it then they can make a map and post it at the forums, so they can prove that they can make a better map than the current annihilation maps

I am the latest example of unfair ban...perm banned for a false made up reason(personal vendetta disguised as staff disrepsect)..wen I made unban (in proper format mind you) I was banned in forums too..what hope do persons who are not in the friendlist of admins have..I have beenGC patron for 2.5 years and now been shamefully thrown out..no temp ban..straight perma ban with no unban request forever...any admin willing to help also cant do coz a superior is blocking them...hope aXed takes a right-minded decision on who to giv powers to make the server better...

 

Sadly this problem is relevant again with the flood of obvious hackers that get ignored by mods and admins. I am not even talking about the regular cases of killaura, but leather civilians killing 5 full diamonds with 20 lightning bolts and such. It has gotten so bad that the admins are the problem now...

 

I'm the only one who would have reasons to mute people for that and I don't do it so i don't think there's another mod or admin muting people for that, and if there is, ppl can just report him/her as noone is allowed to mute for something like disliking maps.

The rules posted there were a bad idea from me as i have no perms to keep it updated, but it's there and it shows the old rules that were here months ago when Cake and me made the waiting lobby. It isn't completely outdated though, the only thing that should get added there is the badsportsmanship rule but it's pretty obvious that saying "Gg easy" after killing someone is toxic.
