So here I am once again trying to get atleast one successful suggestion. Although ideation isn't that hard for me, getting ideas from my head to this here forums is a tough task. They are on the spot thoughts, like "Wow this would a nice tweak" or " It would be amazing if... was added". So bare with me as I try to explain this (although I'm sure you'll get the point).

So here it is (as melliflous as it's going to get): Making bans / mutes / warns public.

There is probably an obvious reason that bans aren't public ; Just like how Staff Names aren't publicized when a ban or mute or even warn is made in the public chat. But skipping all that "secrecy" I want this to be added only if it for sure won't be an issue. I would love to see my bans and such as they happen(ed).

Again this is just a suggestion. Feel free to leave your deprecates down in the comments.

I see OP's point and it's not bad, if you can just see your own history of bans. As for being able to see anyone else.... I think that would create a lot of biased opinions against other players. Plus some people's history contains false bans, making it inaccurate.

 

This will not happen. Especially the part about seeing other people's history.

This would mean you'd have access to everyone's past/history which some people aren't comfortable with sharing. Infiltration of privacy isn't something everyone is comfortable with.

Also, another person's ban/mute info is of absolutely no use to you. Why should it be? The reason this is only available to staff is because they are the only ones who will ever need that data. For example; to see if a present hacker deserves a perm or temp ban, depending on his previous bans (2 heavy bans = perm).

As for seeing your own ban/mute info. That's quite an okay suggestion but has very slim chances of becoming a reality.

At the least i'm trying to go for is to be able to see my own. I was banned for around 2 - 3 years and I'd love to be able to see when I get banned / unbanned to know how long I'v been playing GC and such.

Your suggestion wouldn't make any use to be implemented because you can ask any staff member to give your current history. After all, the history is made for staff members for a reason.
