    Can we make the smelting mcmmo(the one that gives you double drops when you smelt stuff on furnaces) be claimed based instead of manually putting them in the furnaces so that they work?

    What I mean is I just want to auto smelt them and the mcmmo skill will activate while smelting, its so tiring manually putting them into the furnaces so that you get its double smelt to work.

    when you have like 12 dub chests of ores from mining in pvp world, my suggestion really helps XDD

    sorry bud but that would Take the reality out of survival. If you cant handle it then please consider building up your physicality. As a friend once said "Make like cement and harden up Bud"...

    Seriously?
    Would it really "take the reality out of survival"? A small change to smelting to make it convenient versus:
    1. Free money every time you type out a word?
    2. /warp freefood?
    3. /ah?
    4. Voting rewards?
    I think, if you're gonna make the point that survival is 'hard' as you seem to imply, that we should probably tackle the above first. Those things don't just make the game convenient, they make it simple.

    I don't agree with this suggestion either because it only caters to a minority, but to attack it because you think they should "consider building up their physicality" is just wrong.

    this would not be considered a small change.. bug fixes and free money are small changes. plus no need to argue with me i just build what I am assigned to build. if you really have a problem with it I would consider talking with an head admin but then again there would be no need seeing as this will not become a thing at all. stop post farming for attention @Cryolive

    How's that post-farming? He just expressed his opinion. Anyway, I think everything is fine as it is, and if you didn't know, there's a skill (mining) called flux mining which allows you to instant smelt ores when you mine them, not sure if it works, as I never saw that happening, you might need a high level ;) @MoonmooN

    I know you're a builder, but I think it's irrelevant. I don't have a problem with you. I have a problem with your argument. The point of this thread is to leave opinions.
    Just because you disagree with me doesn't mean I'm post-farming for attention, thanks.

    I'm going to clear this up once and for all:
    1. I didn't mention bug fixes;
    2. Free money destroys the economy. The economy destroys survival 'reality'.
      Think about it this way. If people have access to /ah, /shop, and free money, why would they play survival and risk anything at all? They can buy enchanted diamond swords, quartz blocks, potions, and all sorts of rare items from /ah if they win enough Reactions.
      At this point, Survival becomes Creative without /fly for zero 'effort'. An inflated economy is a HUGE change to vanilla. MCMMO's smelting is relatively small.
    I'm agreeing with you here that Survival isn't 'hard'. But when you have an economy where everyone can obtain anything except for a few unrenewable blocks, a small change to smelting (and it is small, since it does not affect how much money people get, and only marginally decreases the time taken to perform a task) will not fix it, and this will impact on peoples' 'physicality' much more, so I think your argument is weak.

    That's the point I was making. The proposed change makes things convenient; players save time when playing survival. Free money and shops makes things simple; players don't even play survival anymore.

    That said, just in case you're still unclear, I think the change is unnecessary because only very few people would be in a position to benefit, and there are options such as flux mining and the time increase is minimal.

    If you'd like to accuse me of post-farming just because you don't agree with me, then if you can prove that I have added nothing to the discussion, report me. Until then, don't personally attack me for having a different opinion.

    well mcmo is very good for upgrading skills or lets say like level upping skills it helps you actually like i have mining skill level 200 on survival

    request lock on this suggestion, some agree some disagree. Id already made up my mind that this isnt gonna be added because as jake goro said "it would take the reality out of survival" and I agree, but gahd its gonna be real annoying smelting a dub chest of gold and iron XDD
