»Developer application + my second plugin

So to start, I would like to apply as a developer for GuildCraft.

Motivation
My main motivation is that I have recently begun making Minecraft plugins and would love to be affiliated with a server and have my plugins run on it! I've been playing on GuildCraft for just over 2 years now, so that's why I chose GuildCraft. My second motivation is that I want to help improve GuildCraft and maintain it in the event that bugs arrive instead of leaving the bugs to hang around for months.

Although some of my recent postings indicate towards me disliking the management of GuildCraft, I sincerely want to see GuildCraft grow for the benifit of my friends that play here, and am willing to put aside my issues and only contribute my programming skills to make that happen.

Why should I be considered for a Developer role
I am 18 years old, and am in my second year of university studying Software Engineering. In my first year, I got an A average, including A+'s in all core programming papers. I can provide proof if necessary. I have been making games as a hobby for about 7 years, although my graphical design skills aren't the best leading to games with decent performance and game-play but so-so graphics.

Recently I have begun looking into developing Minecraft plugins to get over this graphics issue of mine. A while ago I finished my first plugin that helped me learn how to set up and make a plugin, then moved onto making an entire mini-game. My second plugin is a mini-game called Farm King. I was inspired to make this due to this thread posted by @Green_Creeper Here's a little video of it that I made:

This is a clicker mini-game inspired by the Farm King plugin from another server and other idle games like cookie clicker. My goal was to focus less on idling and more on online play. In this video I cover what this mini-game currently consists of, along with future updates that I will be making.

GuildCraft is welcome to have exclusive use of this plugin, although if I don't get a response about using it in a few weeks I'll probably just publish it on the Bukkit / Spigot sites.


So in conclusion...
I want to apply as a developer for GuildCraft since I have the skills and want GuildCraft to become a more enjoyable place for everyone. I would be happy to give GuildCraft exclusive use to the plugins that I make, including the ones I have made already.

Arjen is working all day on mini games plugins, they're hard to make.
Please show some respect for our Developers.

 

It's a +1 from me, even though I don't have a say on the matter. Also, just because you don't see someone constantly updating their change-log doesn't mean they aren't doing anything. Good work, @Jonodonozym

Also, that game in incredibly addicting. It would be a great addition to GuildCraft!

And 3 days ago I finished the auto server checker, aXed receives a notification when a server is offline so he can turn it on

 

Deleted irrelevant comments and locked, this shouldn't be a discussion about which developers are active by people who haven't the slightest idea concerning what actually goes on. This will be shown to higher staff and that'll be the end of it.
