It's obvious that anyone who has been active here, on the forums has often seen these kinds of threads:


I'm not against these threads about "GC Is Dying" in any way. In fact, you can even see my "Agree" ratings on most of these threads and positive comments as well.
But what I'm here to prove is that this is not going to change things one bit. Why? Well let's compare the first thread of this kind to the latest thread. How much do you think has changed? In my opinion, at most maybe a reset or two have been done in years... Nothing else.

I know how outrageous it is to see so many faults and issues in this server but, on the same time, you're not noticing how you still respect the server enough to post on it's forums. Just by reading this post right now you're showing that you care. I also am supportive to the people who want to make this server like it used to be, but by making these threads, you're just discouraging the staff and even if they would want to make improvements, they'd see a post saying: "5 year old adminz are fkin nubs and they just ban everyone". And they would think: "What are we trying to improve here?"

I know you're probably thinking, how I can just "guess" that this is the reason the server isn't developing? Well, you can just look at it from your point of view, but still you have to face the fact that by making discouraging threads like these, we're saying the right thing i.e "GC is dying", but on the same time we're killing it ourselves.

I agree that the server is not even close to what it used to be, but things are not going to change, unless we want them to. The amount of time you spend on making and commenting on these discouraging posts, you could just help the staff make the server better, instead of giving up hope and saying "It's Dead".

Well said, I totally agree.

 

Well the issue, the way I see it, is that people make rants, complains and they just sit behind their keyboards using the word <fucking> before every noun pretending to be mad and pointing out mistakes , based on their personal experiences.
What every server needs is feedback and suggestions and that forum section has been dead for well over some months.
Kaze and Melon made a Practice tournament, well if you check I had made that suggestion 2 months ago but noone saw it.

Instead of people ranting and hating on the server , why don't they just leave a suggestion to make it better? And if no staff members read it, even if they're tagged or they don't take it into consideration? So what? You did your duty, up to them from then on

I agree , if everyone cooperates we would have a cleaner server

 

And why would i do that? If staff isnt quallified to make the server better alone then they should resign,im not helping them,that isnt my job,my job is to play and criticise or be happy with the server,so im never gonna help staff(unless the situation is dire,in which case id be glad to help),because i simply dont care,i dont care if the server crumbles,i have many others to play on,im just killing time here since it was convenient to play with a friend for a while,the server is nothing special and i just come to the forums cuz its the weekend and it takes too long to get to know people on other servers

 

Exactly why people make these threads, half of the staff doesn't reply to any suggestions, thereby making the players think they don't care, or half of the staff think they know more than the players playing, and again if u consider stats it surely is dying, and there is no one but the staff to blame not the players, although i agree half of these threads are just forum farm and being a keyboard warrior, but sadly if you actually go to " feedback and suggestions" section about 90/100 posts have no replies.
There are 30+ skyblock suggestions made, 0 repies or 1/2 maximum, you see why people think the server is dying? If the staff won't respond to feedbacks how are the players supposed to know whats actually going on behind the server, also will state a fact here, the only reason youtubers have successful servers is because they are honest about whats going on with the server, supposedly some problem is being going on, first thing they do is inform the viewers what the problem is, while here whatever is going on back there is kept a secret, no open statements given why they are not able to do something, what are they working on and stuff. I do believe instead of ranting and hating we should give suggestions but its because of the suggestions that go unanswered people evolve upto rants.

To those who didn't wanna read all of this:
Instead of making discouraging threads and rants about the server dying, if you would've just suggested things that would actually make the server better, then this server wouldn't be in this state in the first place.

 

People made suggestions
But when those suggestions got ignored by most staff then people just gave up and assumed staff dont care
Thus rants were made
Suggestions are good but
Gc wont be fixed if those suggestions are ignored

 

I agree that gc devs don't really read suggestions, what gc needs are devs that will listen to the community. For example, everyone wants new kits in Anni, if devs listen to the community more and if they at least try to improve something that would great.

 

I agree. No offense but this thread is kind of like "How does this server have so many players?". If threads can't make a difference, then lets start a fight against the staff! (No I won't do that, problems could be caused by me. Everybody DO NOT AGREE WITH THIS COMMENT.)

Explain to me one thing.
If I had to post farm, why wouldn't I just say "+1" or sht like that on stupid suggestions instead of writing a 4 paragraphs thread that people actually agree with...

 

What if I am? What if I am not? What is there in post farming? What is not there in post farming? You can't judge easily.
