»Get rid of Autoban? (Or fix it?)

So I was just thinking about how Autoban has these 'Ban Waves' where many people get banned for hacking, including legit players. Before, there were no ban waves, and only individual players would get banned (again, including legit players). But now, since a much larger amount of players are getting banned by these ban waves, won't a lot of legit players get banned too? I believe by removing or fixing TAC, the amount of legit players getting falsely banned would get reduced, as well as the pain of waiting 10 days. Anyway, there are other options I've put in the poll that I can't be bothered to say here.

 

i dont think anything needs changing

 

removes autoban -> GC becomes a hackerfest -> player base shrinks from 1000 to 42 hackers with no lives

 

Just the TAC should be fixed

 

there are no legit players that get banned unfairly, Tibo looks at the triggered check and manually adds the players name to the ban wave, there is no difference between a bunch of them getting banned at once and them getting banned individually, its just theres a delay of less than a week before the hacking player gets added to the list and banned.

The legit you talk about , unfortunately aren't , being popular or fanboyed in the community doesn't mean that they won't hack (Heck i hacked in 2015 and made a bullshit claim with a ton of my friends vouching for me even though i know i hacked i lied like a scumbag and I got owned by savage head admins just like you will be)

It. Would be pretty dumb to remove autoban , not saying it's 100% efficient but it can still be of use .
