NOTE: Lots of these ideas are inspired by DiscoDuck’s Suggestions - This is just my take upon them. - http://www.guildcraft.org/threads/possible-creative-update.47250/

    Idea 1:
    BuildPoints:

This would be suitable for members who can’t or unable to donate to the server.

    What are they?
They are this form of currency, which the player can use to access extra Worldedit Commands (for when they vote) or access to certain types of heads.
At the moment, you must vote to gain access to World Edit for 30 mins - and the user can only use a limit amount of commands such as:
    //set, //copy, //paste, //move, //sphere, //hsphere, //replace

Well with Build Points, normal members can access 2 or 3 extra Worldedit commands (For the price of 15 Build Points) for 24hr to help you build on your plot. This could be //flip, some of the //br commands and some other commands I don't know because I rarely use World Edit.

The player can choose the Worldedit option or gain the access to use /hdb for 5-10 mins with a 15 Build Points. They can access only a few playerhead types - such as Devices, Colours and Blocks.
They will be able to access these types only for a certain amount of time, before it finalises and goes back to normal. Whilst being a donator, you can access all the heads at any time - free of charge.

Though, for 30 Build Points, a player can choose to obtain another plot - possibly the bigger plots. Or for 25 Build Points, they can obtain the smaller plot.

How would this benefit those who have donated?

Some of the newer ranks are unable to access Worldedit permanently, so for 25 Build Points, they can access permanent Worldedit, due to them already having extra commands.

With the heads for donators, you can’t get specific players heads without typing in a code. Well for 25 Build points, you can type in players usernames (e.g Farazz or iHasShadowHD) and obtain their playerheads. You can only get 10 different heads for the price of 15 Buildpoints.

How would one obtain ‘Build Points’?

Build Points would be currency in Creative, where players would submit their plot work to the Admins, Helpers and Moderators. One of them (any position) would exam the big or small plot and give it a rating out of 3 - though the plots MUST be finished once submitted for review. Incompletion of a plot will result in 0.

3 would be a detailed, massive plot. Full of life, awe and whatnot - has a particular theme (e.g plots next to the Creative Spawn)
2 would be a plot which has a variation of colour and materials used, a bit of detail, yet still is quite nice.
1 would be an adequate plot, minimal detail.
0 would be a plot which has nothing - no detail whatsoever, random blocks joined together.

The rating would be how many build points they obtain, and would only be able to submit one plot every 2 weeks (both plots within a month)
Meaning if a user obtains 6 Build Points within a month - it’d take them at least 3 months of playing on the server to get a reward from it.
Though, this process would involve the player having to delete their whole plot to obtain lots of build points within a short amount of time. Thus if they wanted to keep their work, they would have to donate to obtain more plots - if not, then they would have to clear it.

    Idea 2:
    /warp sandbox

This is a competition which takes place every 2 weeks in which Creative players can build on a sandbox plot to a certain theme to obtain a small plot in which they can have permanently.

On Mondays, A new theme would be randomly selected, and Creative players would enter this competition with a payment of 2 Build Points. They will work on a 50*50 sandbox plot, surrounded by others who have entered the competition.
At 9am every Monday, the competition would begin, allowing players to build on the plot up until the second final day of the competition (Saturdays). All plots - finished or unfinished- would be finalised, and no one will be able to edit their plots. On the Sunday, players would go around and give one vote to each plot they like, using /vote <plot owner name> <0-3>
The top 3 Creative players with the highest scores will obtain a plot - though you can only win once in 2 months (to make it fair for others)
(e.g dates are - Starts: Monday 2nd January- Ends: Saturday 17th January - Sunday 18th January would be the day of judgement)
These themes could consist of: Ice Kingdom, Star Wars, Reality etc.. (Complicated builds which would require lots of time and detail)

The voting based off other players is so the Admins, Moderators and Helpers aren’t biased with who they vote for, hence why they will not be able to vote, only observe.

    Idea 3:
    Mid point.
This is suitable for those players who want to find the midst of their plot.

For the big plots, the midpoint would be 75*75 in, due to the scale being 150*150.
Though not many players would be able to get to the exact midpoint without skipping one or two grass blocks, so it may not be exact. Adding in a command such as //plot find mid can easily solve this problem. It’s simple, yet effective for those who prefer building in to out, and is very reliable for those builders who decide to build a spawn for the server, as they would need to find the midpoint, or something along the sides of it.

This is what my ideas consist of, thank you for reading.

(Though this may never be implemented into Creative, tell me your thoughts below, and some feedback and suggestions, thanks xo)

I think it should be 5 buildpoints coz we may know it or not some players use disallowed mods like schematics

I was thinking 2 was too generous, but then I feel like 5 BuildPoints would be too much, if you can see where I'm coming from - as you can only get 6 per month, meaning you could only enter once and you may not even be able to win.
To be honest, I've played on Creative consistently for the past few months now, and within a week there's probably only like 2 1/2 days in which people are role-playing. So it isn't that common in all honesty, as people prefer to build and such.

I've implemented /plot middle so that all players can easily find the center of their plots, I'll need permission to implement #2 and #1 probably won't happen but I agree there should be some sort of economy system in place similar to what you're describing. It'll take some time but overall good suggestions! ;)

Instead, //pos1, //pos2, then //center could take you any part of any build in the middle easily. xD
But too bad there's no perms for it. :c

I could imagine the noobs begging admins to give them 3 points for their plots lol. You know... 50%(Lets say not say 50 percent, 40 percent) of the population in GC are kids :p
Admins will be having a really hard time.

There's like 2 Creative Admins, but yes a fair point, that is more than likely to happen. Still happens with those who want extra world edit permissions.
