Plus, you are just opening the forums, click "Staff Applications" and bam, you can apply now. It's just that easy dude. No need to suggest this.
Though, on the game I play (Annihilation), there's an ad that puts the link to the Staff Applications.

Be more respectful to Staffs because they are the trusted ones by the H-A. Getting Mod is harder. Because you have to get the H-A of the server you are trying to apply on their trust before they promote you.

Not needed as we have the forums for making applications, if there was an application system ingame then this command would be useful. Isn't too hard to find the applications
