Let's get something straight here You can say "****" ONCE or twice if you messed up or something. When you continue to say "****", we stop assuming good faith. It becomes clear that you're saying it to disrupt chat, which is NOT ALLOWED. This whole issue stemmed from my report on discord to you, for mute bypassing. Again, let me make something clear. I am FULLY AWARE you can /w or /call while muted, as long as you aren't abusing it (cursing, harassment), which is what elementions, NLzaid, and you were doing. If you seriously believe muting someone for telling a staff member to "**** off" in public chat is abuse, then it's "abuse". To you, at least. To GC administration, no. Furthermore, I don't control others people actions. The only thing I can control is myself. Your claim that I "made people spam and curse" in chat is laughable. These people CHOSE to say what they said. I'm not a wizard, I don't "cause" people to do things. They choose to do it on their own. You also seem to have omitted everything you personally said yourself which only incited more disruption in the chat. If you'd like, I can provide that right now.
Hahahaha. Allahu Akbar means god is great. It is also a phrase used by terrorists and is disruptive and offensive. Let's take this into context: Player A is from a Muslim majority country. Perhaps he is naïve towards the use of allahu Akbar as a derogatory and inflammatory term, and he says, allahu Akbar, god is great. Do I mute? No. Because again, he didn't say it to disrupt that chat. Player B is from the United States. He fully understands the use of "allahu Akbar" as a derogatory and inflammatory term, and he says in all caps "ALLAHU AKBAR" and "HAIL AL-QAEDA" more than 3 times in a row. Player B has a rank on GuildCraft and has a mute/warn history. Do I mute? Yes. Not only is it caps and spam, he is saying it intentionally to disrupt chat. I find it really aggravating that you not only incited other people to join in the mob mentality of staff disrespect, but with your 10 day staff disrespect mute, you find that it's okay to tell staff what's wrong and what's right.
I get muted for saying 'dildo' once while there was like 5 players in the lobby Some guy says 'f*ck' twice while there's 100 players in the lobby. Staff don't care. Logic.
I guess it's because it's more noticeable. I personally agree with you, I don't think cursing in public chat should be allowed anyway. It's disruptive.

Hey! With Saying "allahu Akbar" it means different things for different people right? So why does player B get punished but not player A hmmmm? Point 1: This is mine-craft, religion isn't needed and shouldn't be talked about in public chat, talking with religion may result in arguments. Therefore their is a punishment for saying "allahu Akbar" -If the person is new, you can warn them with the reason "Don't talk about religion/Language" etc -If the person isn't new you can mute them for 12h's for language. This rule wasn't created by me, this rule has been taught to staff by the head admins. Point 2: Swearing is not tolerated at all. If someone say's "****" it's still considered swearing. If there new you can warn them in public chat and say please don't swear, it's not allowed. Swearing is warn-able and mutable, depends if the player is well aware of the rules. @Melon55 I don't think he abused in any way here, and no he didn't force anyone to spam. Just a little misunderstanding here. -Locked-
