@aXed this must be very irratating for you but trust me when i say factions is at an all time low. Yoi gotta feed the cow so it produces more milk bro.... Feed that cow and feed it some good quallity food!

this made me laugh LOL! I do agree to an extend that playing on gc has been boring. When i played about 2years ago,it was pretty fun being a noob. Getting bullied by willy etc. Now with all the sale, it tempts me to get ranks and therefore im titan. My friends ask me why i choose to became an admin instead of playing? Simple,gc doesn't have anything new added and it has gotten boring. Don't get me wrong here,im just giving my honest opinion on factions nowadays.

I see a lot of these posts, and most of you get it wrong, it has nothing to do with GC, you said aXed doesn't give a **** so why is there anything different from now and 3-4 years. From an objective standpoint and me being staff for almost 2 years, nothing really has changed. People complain about randys and toxic people becoming staff, but it has happened before. Lets not forget that Asy was actually one of those toxic people in the beginning and now he's practically a co-owner (which is not a bad thing).
Like with every game/community it has its prime time where everyone has this craze about it and than it slowly start declining.
Good example being COD as a now dying out franchise, like this was the shit back in the MW3 days but now the franchise isn't just dying out it's also getting hate, much like GC. Much like COD, GC is dying out because of the lack of change and new stuff.
Sure a new server/gamemode gets added every 3-4 months but it's already been seen before on bigger server and the main community for that minigame has already been established on that server.

And so why would people still play GC ?
Most of us have stopped playing since it got boring or we grew up, or we just don't have the time to play, since practically all the servers on GC take a lot of dedication to make any progress. That's why personally I see mineplex, cubecraft and hypixel have made a huge success, it's a minigames server, go in play for 20 minutes and leave. GC's community mainly revolved around us young lads 16 and below who still have some time to play. And after the turkey ban GC's player count was hit harder than Nagasaki in 1945. And now that most of the old players are gone, there's not that many new players. Most new players go the the previously mentioned mini game servers.

Personally looking back at it, I probably could have stayed as a head-admin seeing that I still play CSGO everyday for at least an hour or two, so school wasn't really my reason for quiting it was more or less other games picking my interest. (Thanks for buying me CS yoshi)

numbers don't lie ma mannzz. GC had arround 2500 players in prime time, than gc got hit by the tsar bomba "eula". You gotta stay relevant. You have to evolve or else you will die. GC isn't evolving.

let me give you an example: pokemon, everybody loves charmander but charmander gets old so you all of a sudden like charazard. charmander must evolve in charmeleon to become charrazard, but nobody likes fucking charmeleon because he isn't cute and he isn't badass, you want him to become charrazard.

Gc is charmeleon atm, and nobody likes charmeleon. The gc community wants gc to become a charrazard that's why everybody gets so involved in this.

i'm having an hard time understanding my own example but i hope this absoluut retard of an example will make sence to you guys.

The best times of gc was the times that I first started 2 years ago they were active pvp always 250 players online mostly and NO AFK lel I'm hardly trying this reset to make money without afking but i could only make 4 mil worth stuff and 2mil worth stuff more before offering myself. But I see afkers get 20 mil 15 mil doing nothing lel. I'm just telling my opinions

You know it's sad to se that some parts of the community care more about the server than some staff members and the owner.

 

Well the owner doesn't listen to any of us so why should we have loads of respect for him? Yes I respect him for making the server good back in the day, but I have lost respect for @aXed for not listening to us.
