»[Explanation] (Unofficial) Reasons for every punishment we do

Hello dear members,

I saw many people don't agree with
our punishments. Today I want
to explain you every penalty.

The thread isn't finished completely so I would like for some feedback.
This could be stickied to the following sections:
Rules, Unban/Unmute Requests, and Reports
Reason: When people are banned/muted they can easily see what they did wrong, same as reports.


Muting:

Caps:

Would you chat with someone, who has Caps Lock turned on? I especially not, because you
have the feeling the player is raging or something like that. We just want a normal way of typing. If you type more than four words or 15 letters with caps, it's punishable. This doesn't affect to caps names like "IAMTHEBEST"

Duration: 2h


Flooding/Spamming:

If you send a message once, it's already enough, because the players can see it always, so there
is no need to spam it a lot of times. Flooding can be annoying and useless. E.x: "looooooooooooooooooooooooolll" This is filling up the whole chat.

Duration: 4h




Swearing:

It is self-explaining. No one wants to be called for example "**** you".

Duration: 14h, 36h or 3d


Chat trolling:

"Alt + F4 to get Cash!" These types of chat trolling can annoy people especially when they are in the game.

Duration: 6-12h

Accusing:

People who think they can catch a hacker by saying (player123 hacks) in the public chat is wrong.
This makes the hacker to disable his hacks, which means we can't catch him anymore.

Duration: 6h

Racism/Anti-Religious subject matter:

This is one of our worst mute punishments. (For example, saying bad things about religions, races, or not accepting people as they are (e.x. black people).) Sentences like "Burn all the black people" is an example of racism. We don't accept this, so it's the right thing to punish these people.*​

Duration: 3d


Sexual harassment:

Being dirty in our server will lead to a serious punishment. Our server is meant to be played and not a place for these things.*

Duration: 8-12h

Death wishes:

Things like "kys" or "I'm going to bomb your house" doesn't want to hear anyone.*

Duration: 3d



Asking staff for in-game items/money:

Most of the staff can't cheat you money or items. Staff are not supposed to help you progress
In-game. But you can trade with them at any time.

Duration: 2-4h

Arguing:

If someone gets muted/banned, then don't say things like "Unban player123 because it isn't right!", Because Staff mostly punishes players correct. If you still don't agree, he/she can make an unban/unmute request at any time.

Duration: 12h








Banning:


Any type of Combat hacks:

Minecraft is made to be played by you and not by a script or client. Using combat hacks like Killaura will be punished with a ten-day ban.

Duration: 30d (Heavy Ban)


Griefing:

No one wants to get griefed, so it makes sense to punish these people. (In Survival and Skygrid and Skyblock)

Duration: 4d (Medium Ban)


AFK Pools:

They are made for fun or to gain extra activity, some of these machines are causing lag,
so it's the right thing to punish.

Duration: 1d (Small ban)


Bug exploiting / Glitching:

GC sometimes has critical bugs, (E.x: Duplication of items) but that doesn't mean you have to exploit it! The staff members can find it out fast enough, which will lead to a ban and you won't get your items back.

Duration: It's usually a perm ban!

X-Ray:

Mining is supposed to be something interesting and not to search for diamonds with a hack tool. If you get banned, your inventory will be cleaned.

Duration: 7d (Medium ban)

Advertisements/ Virus Websites

This server is not made to advertise your servers, Youtube channel, etc.
If you want that, then there are special websites which are made for these kind of things. Also, links which contain viruses are horrible, they can destroy a whole PC, just by clicking a link!

Duration: Server IP ADV= Perm ban
Any other advertisement= 2d mute



Real life money scamming:

We don't want people to lose their real money because of a fake trade. These scammers will get
punished for that.

Duration: Perm

Account selling:

Selling your GC account isn't right because you sell your identity on your server.
We ban people for that!

Duration: Perm

Account sharing:

Sharing your account with someone else is not allowed, as I said above, someone joins as your identity.

Duration: Perm

Double accounts/ Ban evading:

Double accounts are only allowed if, for example, you and your brother have an account playing on the server. If some of you get banned and use the other account to play on this will be punished. It's better to wait than getting a permanent ban!

Duration: Alt account gets perm ban, main account gets an additional 10d IP ban

Inappropriate names:

Think about it, would you want to be called like "AssMan" or "Bitch"? I do not!

Duration: Perm

DDoS Threating:

If you think saying things like "I'm going to DDoS your whole network" is a joke, then you are wrong.
We don't accept these kinds of jokes because it is dangerous getting DDoS'ed.

Duration: Perm

Asking for OP:

Sentences like "I'm from Planet MC, and I want OP" won't make you op. They will lead to
a bad punishment. If you want really to help our server, then apply for staff.

Duration: Most likely perm

Staff impersonation:

Some people want to be so bad a staff member, so they are acting like a staff member in-game. We know you want to help our server, but it's not allowed to do that. You can apply for staff at any time you'd like to.​

Duration: 10d (Heavy ban)

TP-Killing:

It's not cool, when you get a request and you accept it and when you get teleported to the place you get killed. Most of the people are having good gear and they're going to lose it after this case. We don't accept this since it isn't the right way to kill a player. (We have PvP warps)

Ban for 2 Heavy bans/3 Medium bans:

We personally think: "Everyone should get another chance!" That's why we don't permanently ban
people after their first ban, but it's not okay if you keep going on like this. We can't have people which keep breaking the rules, while having many chances, so it's the right thing to punish with a perm ban.

Forums

Asking for likes:

Ratings should be given fair and not be gained by asking for it!

Replying to reports, while not involved:

We know some members want to help us by giving their opinion about the report, but
we staff have a better experience how we deal with this.

Mini-modding:

We like players who want to help us, but it's our job locking threads, etc.

Post-Farming:

Many people are post-farming because they want to become staff very quickly. This
will show us, that the player is impatient and his/her chances of becoming a member of
our team is going to decrease immensely.

Advertisement of Products/Server IP's:

Our forums isn't an Advertisement platform, where you can advertise products or
Server IP's. There are websites made for these things, which will even result much better than here!

Inappropriate Profile Picture:

Having a profile picture, which is inappropriate towards our members will lead to a bad punishment. Note that the server has got a high amount of young players, so we try our best to present it as clean as possible.









Notice:

*If it's very terrible it results most-likely into a ban.

Most of our in-game rules apply on forums too (for example Swearing)

Even though you may not agree with our rules, they stay as they are because we cannot do anything about them.The only person who may change the rules is the owner.

ah.. pretty nice explaination!

 

In the official rules it says you should not use too much caps letters, 4 words or 15 letters max.
Repeating caps in every nessage isn't allowed too
