May be worded weirdly, literally copy and pasted what I put on discord lol people have been complaining about hackers a lot, and needing elo refunded yet jatinsingh is the only one people have been told to go to for the refund. because of this, should we reconsider how the leaderboards are viewed? maybe we could have elo as a the sub-leaderboard to another leaderboard that counts wins; the tiers could work the same, and it will allow lesser experienced players strive to play as many games as possible and along the way, get better. It will make it more competitive and could cause players to play more to add on to the suggestion, how about we use a point system? 10 points per kill, -5 points per loss, and have a multiplier for points for when they are on a kill streak (or something like it anyway) I don't think this changes the fact that the players on the top of the leaderboards have to be some what skilled. If the players are good, they'll get wins faster whether the play less or not. --- Double Post Merged, May 27, 2019, Original Post Date: May 27, 2019 --- Players will also be less scared to join the ranked queue, they're not gonna be losing elo because they are only playing for wins
I Like the idea of Olof Win = +1 point Lose = -1 point And if they got like a winstreak there point will be multiplier by 2 meaning if you have a winstreak you will get 1X2 = 2 point every win and soan soan
@Murda @GedeJames @Olof I think they are good ideas, but the reason why I suggested this was to stop the complaints about hackers. If there is a way to lose points, there will be two negatives: hackers can farm off the players; and lesser skilled players won't be motivated to get better and play on the ranked queue. I think that keeping the new leaderboards purely win based will be the best option, but if players want a new point system, then I wouldn't have a problem with that.
