This Forum Post is a suggestion on what I will refer to as "The Beacon Block". This will be a short post since it is simple. What is The Beacon Block? A 1x1 block that will give specific potion affects in the claimed chunk that will affect all faction members within the chunk from y=1 to y=256. The suggestion includes potion effects like Strength, HealthBoost, Fire Resistance, JumpBoost, NightVision and WaterBreathing. Why have The Beacon Block? The 1x1 block aims to provide potion effects in a chunk to only faction players in order to have better base fights, aid in grinding of mobs like Blazes, Cave Spider/Spider, Pigmen etc. as many players currently spend time to buy these potions from /shop and apply them every so often. Such a block would increase in game experience. Furthermore the Fire Resistance, JumpBoost, NightVision and WaterBreathing can be used during early Faction days when base building. What should be the price of The Beacon Block? For a block that offers 5 potion effects (2 at a time) I would gladly pay up to 1 million for the forever lasting potion effects it has to offer. Why not the Vanilla Beacon? Having a beam through your base along with space wasted for the iron/gold/diamond/emerald pyramid and sky access with limited options in a Faction Server is not ideal. This is the only alternative in my knowledge that will also not be a Pay To Win feature. This is the end of the Forum Post.
