Hello nubs. Im thinking of buying a new pc this summer and I want a laptop instead of desktop. The thing is most laptops have integrated graphics instead of dedicated. I've heard that dedicated graphics is major factor for good fps in mc but i heard also that graphics doesn't matter and its about ram and processor (wich is more reasnable since its a block game righ?).
Im not the best those stuff so who can help i cri. I wouldn't play any other games other than mc ( maybe LoL and PES) so what are the specs for a laptop for a solid 60fps ( at least only on kitpvp )
Ps: I know laptops arn't for gaming but idc :p

You won't ever need more than 3GBs of ram dedicated to Minecraft vanilla, no way in hell. As it is a Java application, naturally it will consume much more CPU than GPU.

You can always buy a Water-Cooler for your CPU if you want to overclock it to the extreme, as I did with mine.

The thing is though, building a good gaming laptop is more expensive than a normal computer, as the parts have to be smaller and to achieve the performance of a normal desktop, it requires much more effort.

You can't dedicate all your ram to Minecraft too, as the computer needs it more. So if you have 6 GBs of ram, dedicate only 2 to Minecraft, if you have 8, then 3, that's it.

So if you have a tight budget, stick to CPU, while maintaining at least 4-6 GBs of ram. In case you want a Graphics Card, go with a 2GB one, as it is more than enough.

U can buy mine pc if you want 600$, u get over 500 fps. Don't buy laptops for gaming bc the translation for a laptop that use for games = potato and u know what potato is
