    The post count will go lower if you "farm" more posts.

    My posts are quite serious including this, so my brain is having lesser senses of sarcasm and greater senses of seriousness.

    Post farming can/may do the following for you:
    - Lower your chances of becoming staff.
    - Possibly result in a temporary forum ban.
    - Deletion of posts.

    Post farming is typically one of the following:
    - Responding to older threads (several weeks, months or even years old.)
    - Responding to threads with a comment that is random or un-needed such as "lol," "xd" etc. These are mainly used to increase post count.
    - Spamming posts on several threads.
