Sup. I... I honestly think the title is self-explanatory... I really have not much to say about it. Scout, as a kit, is WAAAAAY to useful, playing as scout basically gives you the power of Gods, except instead of being immortal, you can be anywhere, at any given place and time. Scouts has a way for literally everything in this game: -Wanna run away? Use scout. -Wanna chase someone down? Use scout. -Wanna get to places as quickly as possible? Use scout. -Wanna go into the enemy base, get a frag and then run away like a coward? Use scout. -About to fall to the void? Use scout. -Need a quick kill farm? Use scout. -Want to make an epic pvp montage of you owning people, but you suck at pvp? Use scout. -Trying to be as annoying little b- as you possibly can by slowing down enemy team, attacking them and retreating till they ignore you and keep doing that, while they're desperately trying to gear up at the beginning of the round? Use scout. -Wanna finish the enemy Nexus that has 1 HP in a map with Nexuses being completely open from many sides, and you don't wanna use Swapper just out of principle? Use scout. -Wanna make a thread about the most overpowered and overused kit in the entire Annihilation 3.0 gamemode and you're already tired of Dorian talking about Swapper? Use scout. No, wait, I'm already doing that one. Yeaaah... Don't get me wrong, Scout has a huge potential and it's respectable, but it's just simply an overpowered, overused crutch kit everyone loves using, but hates fighting against. And it makes 90% of other kits to be useless. I mean, why would I play something that has upsides and downsides when I can play something that has SO MANY upsides, the downsides become negligible? @edit So people want me to give a way of how Scout's problem could be solved. Personally I think the best idea would be to simply go back to where he was - increase the fishing rod's cooldown to 5 seconds, so the mobility still remains, but won't be as insanely abused. A player can still hook onto something, back off and save himself in many situations, but won't be able to do it all the time.

u can counter scout with scout lol, koldik is one of the most annoying scouts but u can kill and catch up to him if ur scout too

As you wish, I've given a short suggestion of solving the problem. It's edited on the very bottom of the first message. Other kits exist for a reason - Having advantages and disadvantages, countering each other, and it's stupid to have a kit that counters every single other kit there exists. I mean, tell me what's the point of other kits under these circumstances? More interesting example - What's the point of playing Rock Paper Scissors, when Laser gun always wins?
I 100% agree with you here, Scout is simply too overpowered and that is undeniable. Scout is a kit that has great mobility however because of this, it asserts dominance over other kits that are powerless against Scout's. For example, an Acrobat has a 10 second cool-down with its double jump and has a permanent no fall-damage ability. However now, Acrobat can easily get killed by Scouts as they completely overpower it. Scouts can grapple onto high areas and even avoid the void through its no cool-down grapple and its no fall-damage perk upon upgrade. As a result, Acrobat becomes useless in comparison to Scout and was only seen during the earlier stages of Anni 3.0 At which it was only being used because many people were at bronze league. To overcome this, Scout should receive a cool-down and again it should receive half of the users fall damage, as Acrobat has vertical mobility and Scout mainly has horizontal mobility.
anni 1.0 ---> anni2.0 jonodonozym :- okay let's change the anni system add a bunch of kits, bosses, fix bugs, add clans, add upgradeable kits. anni 2.0 ---> anni3.0 xph11 :- let's break scout and add bugs so that when people abuse them we can ban them ))
Who told you that "If you can't beat them, join them" is a good statement? If what you saying is truth then why don't you join people who use CivMining or other hacks? if you can't beat them join them right? people like you with limited thinking are the one destryoing this server's player count, you are staff yet your thinking is so bad lmao Follow your own advice, if someone wins with hack then use hacks yourself. join them my ass
I think scouts are too overpowered (even for Scorpio's standards) and very accessible due to a Golden league requirement (must be in a league as high as Obsidian or Diamond), which meant that the game will be rushed by them. A Hexenbeast and a Terrorist can easily defeat them. They should increase the cooldown for Scout into 10+ seconds on Level 1.
I said, who told you that it's a good statement. Also Scout is just allowed hacks since the head or the new owner can just add whatever in a kit just like a hacked client. but as I said before, limited thinking. lawl
I would definettely have to agree about this, it's so unbalanced and it overtakes several kits like acro for example, also, that fishing rod is known to be useful in pvp too
