I believe the ban appeal system needs a rework since I have been banned for 30 days with the reason kill aura/ reach, I don't mind the 30-day ban since staff needs to do their work and prevent hackers. however, I am not in possession of malicious hacks or have an advantage over other players. and I appealed my ban but since there was ''video proof'' of me being fishy, my ban appeal has been denied and locked without me being able to defend myself with screen sharing, to prove that I don't hack. and that in my eyes is a really bad thing if staff can ban people without the other person being able to defend themselves when the ban is false, which may cause that person to lose trust in certain staff members. and in my opinion staff members represent the server and need to help the players which needed it. anyway I would like everyone reading this to thank them for taking their time, and let's hope this will be recognised by the higher staff members to maybe improve the player experience inside the server
screen sharing won't help since it's a waste of staffs time and you probably deleted the cheats. Staff doesn't ban without proof so you are probably guilty
You got banned means ur hacking deal with it tf is wrong with you man stop crying its gc Lol go find other server (everything) but u know
screensharing does nothing nowadays --- Double Post Merged, Nov 19, 2018, Original Post Date: Nov 19, 2018 --- also can i see the video i can possibly help msg me the video on discord Vurow#2664
Hey @Ryan_MK, About screen-sharing, we sadly cannot do this mainly because there's several factors regarding this; easy ways to hide hacks which we cannot see through a screen-share. too much time to investigate into one case. easily and quickly modify files. easily have several launchers open at the same time. If you make an appeal a few hours after you've been banned, how do we know you still have them hacks installed on your computer? The best way to prove your innocence is to record yourself at the time playing moments before you get banned - this might result in you continuously recording yourself playing. It seems tiring and exhausting but it may come in useful if you do ever get banned, its evidence that you're innocent at the time of your ban. You could always explain each hit you did within the video, explaining what happened in each segment - which requires time but if you can explain it well and it sounds logical - it could make a difference. Always worth a try. Here's a previous thread about someone's suggestion about screensharing - feel free to read the comments about people's opinions previously; https://www.guildcraft.org/threads/screensharing.68866/ Hope this helps, ~ xeph xo
Your ban is most likely valid and will stay. Now stop whining about a ban appeal rework because you thought you were smart when you installed a hack-client.
i got banned too and all the admin replied as proof was a shitty laggy video and said "yOu hAve lOng rAnge so oBvIously tHat cAnt bE jUst 300 ping" and locked it. have you ever seen this server shitty hit detection ?
thanks for ur reply but 80% op the people cant record their screen all the time since that uses alot of processing power and that decreases game performance, however i am able to record my screen but the quality is not even close to being counter evidence so it wont help me, thats why i want a rework because people get false banned and as i said may end up in people losing the trust in staff memers. i dont mind the 30 day ban since i dont play minecraft 24/7 however if i get false banned again and it is permanent and no one can screen share i have no way to appeal my ban in the current situation of the unban appeal system --- Double Post Merged, Nov 20, 2018, Original Post Date: Nov 20, 2018 --- stop being toxic against people since that wont help the server in any way and we are trying to solve a problem
If this is the situation, then talk to the admin who banned you either on Discord or Forums and prove your innocence by explaining each hit you made during that video and how it conflicts with their reason to ban you. Explain each timestamp with each point. Staff must have sufficient evidence to ban you if they believe you're hacking. Use this footage to your advantage to explain each hit and how it happened - it could make a difference. Always worth a try. I'd try and record yourself re-doing the hit if possible. This may be difficult though if you're unable to record. I use Bandicam to record and it doesn't use that much. There's several other screen recorders such as Windows 10 Recorder (Windows Key + G), Fraps, OBS, Screencast-O-Matic and many more. You just gotta experiment and edit the settings to allow it to bend to your will. I'd try it just so if you can have a recorder, it's better than typing to prove your innocence or doing nothing at all. When the EggWars Event was happening, we had a guy within the matches Bug Abuse. So we decided to replicate what it was to decide if he is guilty or innocent with a tester video. Spoiler: Video Evidence (if you're interested) We are not allowed nor obliged to screen-share anyone due to personal reasons and how it can be easily manipulated. This probably won't be implemented into GuildCraft anytime soon being honest due to my previous message above. Hope this helps, if you have anymore questions or queries feel free to message me on Forums or on Discord - xephanez#0290 ~ xeph xo
i dont know if you have een the video i got recorded in u would notice that i got banned for doing a headspin according to the admin his words ''impossible to do in a vanilla game) which my explanaition is that i have good aim and 2 sketchy hits which kills him which could easily be delayed hits as member vurow also explained in a video of an guy who also got false banned (and that admin wont speak to me since he hasnt replied to my message which in my opinion is very unprofessional)
Just wanna point out, I saw someone's video, trying to prove something. Either a ban proof, or innocence proof, do not use slow motion. This can lead to wrong bans/unbans and we don't want that. The admin in question can also ignore it, since it's in slow-mo, making it harder to understand if it's actually proof that you're hacking/innocent or not. ~Troz
Pretty sure no one did this except me but after you watch it in slow motion and then again in normal speed, it's a bit more clear because everything goes super quick
