Hello, so i think we can easily get our players back if we fix the faction hit detection and knockback. If these 2 get fixed Guildcraft will be even better than it is.
Once we fix this, aXed will be able to hire YouTubers to play on the server.
I think they can sign a contract like the YouTuber has to upload at least 3 videos a week for a whole reset and the YouTubeer can get 10% of the money that aXed gets from shop. This will make it fair for both aXed and the youtuber.
But of course we need to fix the knockback and hit detection. I suggest you guys hire a dev who knows alot about Knockback and hit detection coding.
If you need help finding a dev let me know ill try getting in contact with the devs of other PvP based servers with good hit detection so you guys can get this fixed ASAP by them helping you.
    Thank You!

There is still servers that have a lot of players, if they have a lot of players then we can too. So no, i will not get over it because there is a lot of hope. It does not matter if Minecraft is dying, If it did matter then all server would have little to no players.

You're right, all the remaining players play on servers like hypixel and good factions servers instead of a dying cracked server where hackers are not uncommon.

The only problem with the hit detection is the anti-cheat. It cancels hits that it thinks are 'illegal'.

The solution is to turn down the settings, but with that we also leave players vulnerable to hackers. For example, just recently, I disabled a setting that was responsible for allowing players to glitch through blocks with ease (it was the flight hacks check that was causing the glitching to happen). I disabled that check, and it fixed the glitching. However, members would suddenly start flying in the warzone. Most of the settings that could be tweaked to improve hit detection have really bad trade-offs like that.

I already know what you are going to say in response to that: "well, get more active staff". Don't worry, I have been working on that. Recently, I have enacted a new inactivity policy on my staff team, particularly to target the staff that were only logging in once every 4-6 weeks in hopes that there activity would go up. Some failed to correct their inactivity and were demoted, but I have noticed improved activity from a few of those inactive admins. You may also notice that we 3 new admins. I hope that this is able to alleviate some of your potential concerns regarding the staff team.

So with those two things in mind, I could probably tweak the anti-cheat and not necessarily have to worry about hackers coming out of the woodwork thanks to increased activity from my admin team. I will attempt to find the best balance between hit detection and hackers (hopefully awesome hit detection, no hackers) without ruining another mechanic of the game.

As for the knockback, its quality really depends on your ping. Noltie, Bunny, and aXed perfected the knockback awhile back. European players that live near the host are far more likely to report good knockback. North American players may not have so great of knockback.

Finally, hiring a YouTuber to record videos of GuildCraft is not a good idea at the moment. We first need to fix bugs and issues, otherwise, hiring a YouTuber may give our server a worse name if the YouTuber winds up encountering all the bugs.

Nonetheless, your suggestions will be considered. // Locked.
