»[Suggestion] Team Captain

So basically I thought of this idea that at the start of every phase, you can vote for a team captain. The team captain would make plans for the game and give his team the plan via Team Broadcast. Team Broadcast would look something like this. Team Broadcast would be selected from a GUI with other options like: Attack, Defend!, Group Up, These messages would be able to be edited by the Team Captain with the place you want people to go and text colors. I think that this would benefit the anni community positively by encouraging teamwork and co-ordination.

How about people at the start of the game vote for who the captain is going to be instead of every phase.

rip normies like me. perhaps make the team captainship random? well if the captainship lands to some dude who doesnt even speak english; rip team.

 

The point of this would be to select experienced players that have a set game-plan.

I put at the start of each phase because if the captain isn't doing very good/has to go afk the teammates can change it.

the only game plan that wins rn is farming, and even that is hard as **** when a team has like 4 defender kits who cover the floor with mines

 

It will just boost the ego of little white faggots, no point, no one is going to listen to it and just follow on what their doing themselves.
Adding this is like accepting capitalism and i for one am against it.

In my opinion...this is a very good suggestion...
But in mean time, only 1 can be voted as a team captain... well i guess u know how teams in GC rn are very "balance" so what would happen in unbalanced teams?

Currently, many players just ignore orders unless they are by famous people but many people will still ignore them even if it make them lose the game, biggest example is asking people to def.

So if this gets implemented, most people will just ignore the new feature and do whatever they are trying to do.

 

You and I are both experienced players in annihilation, I've played the game for a few years and so have you. You're a far more popular player than I am (Its the truth lol, people spam your team like crazy, no one does that to me), so people will nearly always select you as the team captain.

I don't think this would turn out fair for everyone, however this *may* improve communication, but would be unfair for non - popular players :/

Asking players to def is like "hey! you, stop playing the game and stand at the nexus doing nothing in your leather gear".
It's stupid to ask them to do it just like that, who would like to stand their butt at the nexus waiting for something to happen in a 40-50 minute long game? No one!

To make people def, provide them with gear, etc.
I know you would call them immature, but not everyone plays for like 5 hours a day.
I used to play just one game / day, and if someone would ask me to def for like 10-15 mins, I would certainly refuse.

 

very honest answer, people join anni to play for fun or try doing something on their own. sometimes they may agree to listening to captains order, but they wont do it in all the games. it mostly will be like this- i am here to play a game to enjoy, but now someone tells me what i must do instead of me doing things myself. because the person will be given an order in every game because in every game there will be a captain, the person will not enjoy his or her own game. important thing is, if there is a captain to order players, then captain have right to say we lost or been attacked because he or she is not listening to my orders , that person gets insulted by the captain in front of all and which will make him or her feel very bad and insulted.
if there is a team captain, then the players have to be alert the entire game without being afk since he or she is given a job.

i remember when i use to play anni, i was told by someone people random(not makimus, loseyourself, mohammedtn1385 and many) that person not very famous player but trying to farm, tells me go get me 30 gold and i did for him, sometimes go get me 26 iron and i did for him. it happened maybe 5-6 times i listen, then i start ignore people asking me get for them because i get for them and i land up to being leather only and again i had to mine iron or gold for myself. when i was tp kit, one game i make tp, then in all game i was told make tp which in some game i did not want to be tp, but did tp because team wanted it. i had to listen for my team.

so same way if there is team captain, the good players have no problem with capatin, if captain tell good player do this, the good player can say i will do other thing and captain will say okay. but people who are not good player, they will have to listen to captain or get shouting if the team lose or get attacked. the not good player will mostly be told by good players that we prepare something else to get ready so till then you all get these for us, not good players get to do the harder work in phase1 like,' A' go get iron, 'B' go get gold, 'C' collect arrow from gravel, and 'D' 'E' 'F' 'G' some work.

i did not vote yes or no. just writing my view from my heart and mind what i think about team captain. very thank you to all in advance, for reading my view i wrote about team captain.

 

add a mini map but it doesnt tell where the enemies are but only your teammates

The team captain idea will practically work in pro teams, like in op rew team i remembered people had cooperated when rew wanted to rift , about 7-9 players rifted and absolutely destroyed the enemy's nexo

on the other side we must also consider the noob teams, the ones that all noobs go into and no one listens to each other. This makes the suggestion useless in this case.
