This has been discussed and debated for ages. When redstone is used in the wrong hands, it can cause major lag issues so hence why it is disabled. It can easily be exploited. It wouldn't be fair enabling redstone for one person and not the other.
Nope, and never....... I remember seeing a creative server which allowed redstone ain creative it got popular and creative after that was never the same, extreme lag and it reseted every 3 months not to mention your plots which got deleted of few days inactivity if you want to use redstone and want W/E AND more plugins use Aternos its free and good to host Private servers once you make it add the plugin Wolrdedit I guess that answers the question
