»Some (new) suggestions for GuildCraft

    Some suggestions others haven't suggested (they're not that much of a deal but still can fix something)
    1. Get better hosting - Despite the considerably low player count on GC (I'm not blaming anyone yet), the server is lagging hard - especially the lobby. We currently have a host that fits for 4000 players, which I believe isn't gonna be anytime soon. Reduce the player max count to something around 1000-1500, remove unneeded servers (I'll explain this later), and remove anything unneeded demanded from the host as possible. But the main point of this is to simply get a better hosting service with a smaller player max and RAM. Decrease the amount of RAM used in small servers such as Prison.

    2. Choose between Prison or OP Prison. Both servers aren't anywhere near their peak stage atm, and there's a serious conflict within the two economies in the servers (you can level up from A to B by just voting 1 day.) Choose one and actually focus on it, fix the bugs and add in features. Making more servers doesn't necessarily increase the player count - I think the staff and the players have both learned in that category.

    3. @short1der mentioned this too, but replace eggwars with bedwars. Bedwars is a much more better game with a much better gameplay system. I could elaborate on this for hours, if anyone tags me in the comments asking for elaboration I'd be happy to do so, but I don't have time atm so I'll do so later

    4. Remove the long 'features' list in the main lobby. Idk what advertising the 'scoreboard' in skyblock is helpful, but it rather makes the server selector look messy. Rather just change it to a short paragraph with a few key and unique features from the server (such as skyblock having a ore gen upgrading system)

    5. Add back in 25k kits - P2w. Dragon vs. Toad, unless you're some sort of a BadLion master, it's extremely difficult to balance the gameplay when the old 25k-coin kits are no longer available for non-donors. I'm not saying we need to completely remove them from the Buycraft store, just at least simply add them back in. Blame asy.

    6. Make barbarian the default kit for KitPvP again. Newcomers were actually able to level up and play well against the long-timers due to barbarian's berserk effect. Now the default kit is peasant, which simply gives you more soup - nothing else more helpful in gameplay itself. Most of the people I talked to said that killing someone with peasant is a much more boring experience.

    I'll make a further thread on cosmetics and bedwars later. I'm slightly lazy rn so hope you take these into consideration.

    Lol someone didn't notice that the reset was for the sole purpose of removing those kits cuz no money 4 axed :^))))))
    There's no reason to keep kitpvp running if he barely makes any money from it

    New players have like no chance for staying longer w/o a kit or a rank on kitpvp

    25k kits = more players = more people invite their other friends = get bored = go other gc gamemodes = love them = be more confident to buy a rank / perk = more money for aXed = more happy we are.

    I agree with everything especially the part where you talked about the lag in the server because as you said the lobby is so laggy, etc

    Eggwars and Bedwars are similar, but not exactly the same, some players prefer eggwars and some prefer bedwars, I agree that adding bedwars is beneficial for guildcraft, but I don't agree in replacing it with eggwars. Eggwars right now has its own player base and not all of them prefer bedwars, which means removing eggwars itself will lose a whole lot of players. Adding bedwars, on the other hand, could be beneficial but then again, it needs time to build up its own player base, or it will just be like csgo...

    1. Definetly do agree with this.
    2. Both of them have a head-admin taking care of them, so as long as they're doing fine I don't really see a purpose for removal of one of them, but yes, in general, focusing on current servers and making them better is a more efficient way to gain more players rather than adding some new servers.
    3. Not really into this kind of stuff, but I also enjoy playing bw more than ew, so if they have time they could just add bw along with ew. Not really going to think this will happen soon tho because there are many servers that need resets and stuff such as SkyGrid and KitPVP, so as you mentioned in #2, they would rather need to focus on their current servers atm. Some players enjoy ew more than bw, so they wont be happy if it gets replaced (not me, I like bw more).
    4. I definetly agree with this.
    5. Also agree, this reset pretty much was a p2w one mainly for its financial debts, maybe because it needed money, so I couldn't really blame on that if that was the case as this was a pretty damn efficient way of gaining money. I personally don't like this and agree with you, because of two clear reasons:
    • Peasants have a really rough time gaining coins and score due to the p2w kits which are obviously op compared to it.
    • Back then, everyone fought and killed each other to show who is the best KitPVP-er, now they just spend a small amount of euros on a good kit and go into peasant slaughter. It really ruins the fun of the game, and that's why it's lost players overtime.
    Removing p2w kits and making them back 25k would surely get more players into playing it by re-adding the fun back, but it would cause the financial debts to go down, which I don't know if they would really want that to happen.
    But as for the server, I do agree with you on this, personally I do not like the p2w system either and want the old one back.
    6. Apart from making kit p2w, Asy also added a default kit which was worse than the other one. I really don't get what the whole point in this was tbh.... Kit needs to return to the days when kits were 25k and barb was the default kit, it was much better like that, and it had more players. At least if they arent adding 25k kits back, they should make barb the default kit, and archer the 250 coins kit, as it would be more balanced like this.
    Overall, I agree with your suggestions. You pointed out some important stuff, and I really think that at least the 5th, 6th, 4th and 1st suggestions should get implemented. Really good suggestions, keep it up man.
